In the period 1993 to 2017 National reduced the number of state houses by 12,000. During the same period labour added 17,000 state houses. Positive results. Just think if National had sold housing there would be 12,000 more homes and if had constructed house at half rate of Labour there would be 20,000 more state rentals. So has National and it's partner parties contributed to the housing shortage?

Unlike the Act Party, who is neo liberal which means " Neoliberalism is contemporarily used to refer to market-oriented reform policies such as "eliminating price controls, deregulating capital markets, lowering trade barriers" and reducing, especially through privatization and austerity, state influence in the economy." Sir. Robert Muldoon would have clearly pointed this out Act. In the UK they managing the problems post 1970 cause by this ideal.

National just said there will be no asset sales. ACT says they want to sell off SOE by 49% and sell of government farms which exist for many reasons. So there is conflict of principles between ACT and National.
