Normally amputees would fold the leg and put a pin in it. Assuming that they didn't have a false leg.

@therealobanir He was cautioned, which means he admitted committing a criminal offence. This remains on a person's criminal record. He was also placed on the SOR for five years.
1
@therealobanir Some sources used that word. I just went with one of those. However, he did admit to being guilty of a criminal offence. It just avoids a criminal prosecution, and trial, where he could have plead not guilty. You never know, a top QC could have got him off completely, and he had plenty of money to afford the best.
1
@geoff9759 "strickly"?
1
@jamieoshea1681 Does freedom of expression trigger you?
1
Pillar or column?
1
@Jammo1978 The commenter already said that.
1
Not sure how that would work.
1
@andrewrussell4707 Yes, he was. Just look how many Bond films Moore was the star of. His popularity was number one. If he hadn't been the best, they would have found somebody else. They only did that when he wanted to stop playing the role.
1
@secretsymphony The Saint? Aren't we talking about Bond here?
1
@bid84 No, he wasn't. Everyone knows it was Moore.
1
@HoldFast-r7g He had daylight. The thumbnail clearly shows him looking through the windows. You can clearly see his face. So in essense it was about restricting the view. There's a house right up to his now anyway.
1
@HoldFast-r7g No, you don't understand the law. There was plenty of light to take pictures of him looking outside through those windows. How much does the light have to decreased by? And what's the problem, if it isn't about views? BTW, try some capitals and punctuation. They're free.
1
@danhnguyen-fn9eb It's amazing what unsual ideas people come up with, and yours is one of them. Why didn't the father just buy some net curtains? It would have been a lot cheaper and easier. It was a petty dispute for some other reason.
1
@ Just what's your major malfunction, pal? BTW countries are proper nouns, so begin with a capital letter.
1
@benedictdesilva6677 There's too many cameras positioned so that they're spying on other people's property. Isn't this an invasion of privacy. Ring cameras do this all the time.
1
@thebolsta That's would have been a lot of work, and what if the old bag had got someone to move the poles?
1
@jaykoerner The court cases about Ring cameras are an issue. That's why I specifically mentioned them. "Court case that means your doorbell could cost you £100000. Gloucestershire Live, 28 Feb 2024 — The warning comes after a court case where a judge ruled that a man's use of a camera doorbell broke data protection laws and caused harassment."
1
@thebolsta So the poles might have needed planning permission in 1915. Which probably wasn't applied for. Although, this was six decades later. Anyway, it sorted itself out along time ago. Although, not all cases work themselves out as this one did.
1
@professorhaystacks6606 As I was reading your reply a video was recommended in my feed. "What are Ancient Lights and why did they ANNOY the BBC?"
1
@professorhaystacks6606 Dunno, the video I mentioned, is what it is. Of course, you're more than welcome to do more reasearch into the subject yourself. Although, I would assume that the law in London, would have applied in other locations, without the need for a sign in every instance?
1
@professorhaystacks6606 Mirrors. Would they have been involved in the legislation?
1
Narrated by a very young Harry Enfield no less.
1
The R&D did continue, and the performance of EV's is still not adequate.
1
@EdwardianTeaChest Does it have song and dance numbers for no apparent reason?
1
@edwardjohnson7059 It wasn't a great film, but I mentioned it, as it fitted in with this documentary. Being in colour is also a bonus. I suppose they added the Eric Sykes character to add to the storyline. It's also interesting to see Harry H. Corbett sounding exactly like he did in Steptoe and Son.
1
@Kool-AidAbstainer who knows.
1
@bulletz9280 How do you know all this?
1
@andrewholdaway813 It's a private road. There's a sign. The road is also unpaved which seems standard for streets, where owners don't pay the council for upkeep. This usually mean a death trap of potholes and ruts.
1
@andrewholdaway813 Both properties involved in this dispute were houses, not one a bungalow. It's clear in the video.
1
@dfjtobin Any view is only from the front, and that's blocked by a Chinese takeaway.
1
@dfjtobin OK. So the windows are unblocked. There's not much of a sea view anyway. There are houses between it and the beach, and also a Chinese takeaway blocking any views of the sea.
1
@dfjtobin There was no sea view for him even then. Maybe a little from the old bag's house, which which was at the end of the street.
1
@andrewholdaway813 The point is that private roads have different rules. If you've ever been down one, you should have noticed that.
1
@andrewholdaway813 BTW, try using some punctuation. It's free.
1
@andrewholdaway813 Yeah well. It doesn't do you any favours. Punctuation was invented for a reason.
1
@andrewholdaway813 At least I'm literate.
1
@andybb What's there?
1
Only think?
1
Never. Knock me over with a feather. The only thing which connects the old Triumph company, with the new one, is the name.
1
@cyrillicsam Labour costs are apparently everything. Except maybe in Japan.
1
Not really. The first finger driven touchscreen was developed by Eric Johnson, of the Royal Radar Establishment located in Malvern, England, in 1965.
1
Could have. It's a bit late now.
1
@daniellamcgee4251 Yes, uninvaded for nearly one thousand years, until now.
1
@daniellamcgee4251 The one coming across the English Channel. There's not much I can say here, or the reply will go. Obviously, you're interested in the s@fety of British women and girls. However, it probably won't affect you. So that's OK then?
1
@ What are you talking about? P00tin and Ruzzia's finished. China's were the money's at. BTW, try some punctuation next time, it's free.
1
No. Luke Casey is not Tim Sebastian.
1
@ So "Jazz 625" from 1962 wasn't broadcast in PAL, pal? The previous system was EMI's 405 line system from just before WWII. Was it transmitted in that? I also didn't need reference to the internet to write this reply.
1
@ Wow, you've certainly been hitting the search engines hard, pal. OK, so my memory was a little off. I'd advise anyone to read the relevant articles on Wikipedia, like you did, to clear up any confusion.
1
@jamesoneill2933 It was good enough for Nelson Mandela and Nelson Piquet. Obviously, their parents looked up to him. Especially his column.
