It's an issue sure, but there are bigger, more pressing issues, like being broke for example, no hope of owning a home, no hope of being able to afford a family, etc.

Well at least I don't have to deal with any of this since I have neither friends nor any goals or aspirations 😂

So, living has meaning because we, among other things, exist, otherwise nothing would exist at all But who says so? Where exactly is the correlation between the two? What makes the statement above make any sense? According to my personal experience it's more like the opposite, if anything

Pretty much set up to fail. The old ones won't care as they roast us all the same for being "weak", "lazy", "entitled", etc., etc.

@Allegro_Giusto Seriously, how difficult is it to live without absolutely fucking over every single human being that comes after you? The world has gone to hell, the rich own more of the world's wealth which they don't even have business dreaming about having, the economy has committed self-deletion, every single person is acting like a POS, but everybody makes mistakes I guess I'm suffering so much from "Almost too much opportunity to a fault" that I can't even find a single job 👍

@RadicallyGreen Nothing can make you immune to suffering, except death. But who is more likely to successfully avoid suffering? The guy that lives in a mansion, has the best health care available, the best opportunities available and people that love him for his money or your average homeless person that is just about to freeze to death on the street, all alone? It's the same argument as money being able to buy happiness or not. By itself it can't buy happiness but it can give you the conditions to achieve happiness, whereas poor Joe Mcshmuck over there that just got a deadly infection from getting bit by a rat on the street probably won't be finding happiness anytime soon, depending on if you view death as happiness I suppose

The top 1% is actually smart af. They make reality so bad on purpose so that they can then sell us vr and whatnot and we'd have no choice but to accept it when the real world is downright unlivable

9:36 Oh dang I wonder how that even works

People in 2020-2024 got to experience what us depressed people have been going through our whole lives. Welcome to hell boys
1
I'm not sure if this video makes me glad I've been depressed for my entire life without any influence from social media or not...

5:20 Yo all these people referencing this thing makes me wish that I've seen it as a kid 😂
1
I still don't get this part, every time I listen to older people they either give obvious advice or advice that I've already heard a million times before. At this point the only decent conversations I can find are ones with people that specialize in philosophy to be honest
1
Too late, been like this for well over 10 years at this point. This is what happens when you leave a kid to deal with life alone without any kind of support system I suppose
1
So, I've been nihilistic since more or less teenagerhood until young adulthood, am I doing it right or?
1
@luigimrlgaming9484 Same, even as a child, without any guidance from anybody whatsoever, only with friends nagging me to join them, it was rather easy to conclude that Facebook (and well similar social outlets like Twitter) just aren't worth it
1
It's not the lust, but the lack of fulfilment of said lust. All human beings experience lust regularly, the exception is within the 0.%
