There is vast difference. It only makes sense to discuss the possibility of alien like forms in our own galaxy. I’m not a big fan of Dr. Tyson — I don’t like his style — but he hasn’t said anything controversial here from a purely scientific standpoint.

Each generation incorporates revisions as needed to build larger versions of the aircraft and to modernize the systems. The 737 has lasted so long and sold in such large numbers because it is a good aircraft. I’m not trying to minimize the seriousness of the two MAX crashes. The MCAS was badly botched, and the handling of the matter after the first crash was completely irresponsible, in my opinion. Nevertheless, that problem has been fixed, and I expect this latest problem will be found to be an isolated incident, not a systemic problem with the aircraft.
