No, we (in the USA) have being doing well except for the foolishness of getting involved with Ukraine. Biden did one great thing — he defeated President Trump, who is an enemy of the Republic.
1
“Evergreen” is the name of the company, not the ship.
1
No, President Biden will not get involved in this. You are just making that up.
1
hypocritical
1
Certainly India should be neutral.
1
Not likely. Wait for the analysis.
1
Ukraine is not a democracy. I sympathize with the plight of Ukranian noncombatants, but the notion that they are a democracy attacked by an imperialist neighbor is simplistic.
1
I don’t know if that is true, but it certainly seems the case that the USA wants to keep Russia as a permanent enemy. Thirty years ago we had relatively good relations with Russia, and it has been all downhill since then. Biden has been in the thick of it throughout. I am a US citizen. Russia is not my enemy. I am more worried about Biden’s brinkmanship than I am about anything Putin has done.
1
Only NATO countries can decide what other countries may become members.
1
No, it is not a MAX.
1
baloney
1
It could only have happened with support from the other NATO nations.
1
Ukraine is a problem for the world. Zelensky has been trying to start World War 3.
1
No. Trump is irrelevant to the discussion. Both major political parties in the USA contributed to this foreign policy fiasco, from the mid 1990s on.
1
Not likely. Just move on. If Jamaica wants to ditch the monarchy, I’m sure they will be allowed to leave, but don’t think you can demand payment. World history is full of injustices. It is not possible to balance the books. Look forward, not back.
1
There are “butchers” in Ukraine as well. President Biden is a warmonger. He helped provoke this war and he has made it far worse by supplying arms to Ukraine.
1
Longevity in office has nothing to do with Naziism.
1
That is true of all nations. The problem is that US leaders have not acted in the best interest of the US people. Not only Biden.
1
The west? Why? Let Ukraine demand reparations from Russia. It isn’t my (US citizen) business, but I will guess at the terms. 1. recognize that Crimea is Russian. 2. Recognize any other eastern province’s right to join Russia. 3. Give up any idea of joining NATO or any other western military alliance. 4. Protect the rights of Russian language speakers in Ukraine. 5. Work with Russia to eliminate Nazi elements in Ukraine.
1
No, this is not the model that was grounded. Those planes have been returned to service in most jurisdictions.
1
This semantic argument is being beaten to death. Everybody knows it was a real gun provided by the props department.
1
According to Aviation Safety Network, there have been 52 hull-loss incidents of Airbus 319/320/321 models.
1
@n.v.9000 — NATO borders were more secure before Poland was admitted. Poland is partial to Ukraine because Ukraine was created by Polish invasion of Rus in the 14th century. Poland and Lithuania ruled Ukraine for about 300 years.
1
President Biden is a warmonger. I won’t say “criminal,” but Biden’s Ukraine policy led to this war, and he has been arming Ukranians for it for a long time.
1
Of course they will join Russia. Ukraine won’t defend them against attacks from Ukranians.
1
You don’t know the meaning of “extradited.”
1
This war has been brewing for much longer than two years.
1
Who are “we”?
1
Perhaps. Russia’s demands are reasonable, but contrary to Biden’s policy.
1
The west, of course, has carved up nations into separate parts whenever that suits them. The USA is shameless regarding its double standards.
1
Biden helped provoke this war, and he’s loving it.
1
It isn’t, but it is structured to defend NATO countries. It cannot get involved in Ukraine without fisking a wider war. NATO is already more involved than it should be, in my opinion. This is an extremely dangerous situation.
1
If you want to charge that you have to be able to prove it.
1
Arming Ukraine is reckless.
1
Likewise US/NATO behavior.
1
India is not a member of NATO. They can’t be a traitor to a club to which they do not belong.
1
That is lesson Russia learned. NATO promised no eastward expansion after unification of Germany, then reneged on the agreement only a few years later.
1
I read that al Qaeda sent some fighters to help.
1
I wish Ukraine would stand down.
1
The case is dripping with irony.
1
Trump is a neofascist who attacked the Congress of the United States. He was an aberration in US politics. Get over him. Both Democrats and Republicans have contributed to ruining relations between the USA and Russia. We need a statesman for our next President, should we live so long.
1
The 737-800 is a reliable plane, despite this crash. There are thousands flying and crashes are exceedingly rare. Lets wait for the analysis of the crash.
1
A worldwide radio system to capture hundreds of signals from thousands of flights in real time would be hugely expensive and less reliable. Nearly all the daa are just thrown away, but when you need it, you want every detail, accurately. A data recorder is relatively inexpensive, reliable, and requires no administration. You are proposing to fix a problem that doesn’t exist.
1
One-fifth of the world’s airliners are B737s.
1
If Ukraine were in NATO, they likely would have provoked war with Russia anyway. Ukraine wants war with Russia, at least certain people in Ukraine do.
1
It isn’t a question of smarts. It’s just leverage. The US is in no position to influence China on this matter.
1
No. He peformed one great service for the United States in defeating our neofascist President. And he has done well on domestic issues.
1
You cannot know how your individual taxes are spent, because money is fungible. You can know the federal budget.
1
It is not.

Most commercial aircraft are Boeings.
