Imagine the gut wrenching moment of epiphany when Olivia Wilde actually reads or watches something by Jordon Peterson and thinks, 'Shit. I've just portrayed this earnest and thoughtful man as a monster. What was I thinking?' That will never happen. The Hollywood intelligentsia does not have the ability of self-awareness nor the ability to admit error.

Prime Minister Justin 'Blackface Ethics Violations G7 Partier' Trudeau. Never forget that.

If there is one silver lining, it's this: the percentage of the population in favour of the lunacy is tiny, less than 10%. They are a small minority -- but they are VERY loud, thus wielding a disproportionate influence. When the larger populace finally recognizes and accepts what is going on, the foolishness could be ended swiftly. Alas, many are still peacefully slumbering.

Trudeau's reelections suggests that many Canadians should be reminded that hockey practice next summer will not be conducted at local outdoor ponds. I would point out that Trudeau got fewer votes in the 2021 election than he did in the 2019 election, from 33.1% of votes cast down to 32.6%. Voter turnout dropped from 67% in 2019 down to 62% in 2021, meaning the Trudeau government was elected by only 20% of the electorate. Welcome to our first-past-the-post parliamentary system. Trudeau is the reverse Harper -- a majority government followed by two minority, as opposed to Harper who had two minority governments before winning a majority.

What if "Dr." Fauci was turned into the first example of Soylent Green? Would that be poetic justice of some kind?
3
@TMinozaJ <--- an example of the willfully ignorant
3
It's happening in law schools too. Even the hard sciences like engineering are falling to this stuff.
3
@hanskloss7726 Did you see the video where he gets lost walking back into the White House despite his security pointing out to him the path he should take?
3
Be sure to take a CLOSE look at what exactly he is being taught. The stuff Gad points out is quickly becoming widespread at all levels of education.

JPL and Gad, 1, complainers and whiners, 0. Flawless victory!

I say let the College try to reeducate Peterson. Because it's quite possible Peterson would convert the inquisitors to his point of view.
2
Not just the U.S. and Canada, but the Western world.
2
Politics ruins everything.
2
I suspect the only way the problem of all these neo-Communists, proto-Communists, and Communists will be resolved is by the old method of free helicopter rides. Logic and reason don't seem to work, so what other options remain?
2
This is why you subject the punishment to a higher standard, not the question of guilt. To put it another way, while finding someone guilty requires the standard of proof beyond a reasonable doubt, to apply the death penalty after a guilty verdict would require proof beyond almost any doubt, an obviously much higher bar. This would make capital punishment a rarely applied punishment, reserved for the worst of the worst and with overwhelming evidence, as it should be.

Anyone who purports to care about climate change and says nothing about China is someone who doesn't actually care about climate change. China was the #1 emitter of carbon dioxide in 2019, according to the EU's own EDGAR database, putting out more than twice as much as #2 United States. In fact, China pumped out by itself as much as the next five nations combined.

Israel has done terrible things too, let's not pretend it is an innocent angel. It is not nearly as bad as its opponents, true, but it is hardly without blood on its hands. I maintain the solution to the issue is to allow NO ONE to live there, neither Israeli nor Palestinian. The area, much like the Balkans, seems to be a part of the world which drives people crazy. Better to let no one live there and have nature reclaim it.
2
Just keep her away from living, breathing patients. Unfortunately, 'woke' ideology is being fully established in medical schools and law schools. The quality of both medicine and legal representation is going to rapidly decline in the years ahead.
2
Waiting for the day that biology text books are outlawed. Which would certainly make medical practice a lot more, ah, interesting.
2
@mickmcmenemy7701 If the "I'm offended!" or "That's racist!" crowd ever happen upon Mel Brooks' earlier films, they would no doubt demand they be expunged and banned.
2
I have a Facebook page that I barely used when I was using it. I haven't touched it at all in about seven years.

Control the Language, Control the Masses Orwell got their first; see: Newspeak.

Well, I won't back down No, I won't back down You can stand me up at the gates of hell But I won't back down No, I'll stand my ground Won't be turned around And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down Gonna stand my ground
2
An awful lot of people still somehow believe the lies peddled by the corporate "news" networks. The media is the #1 problem.
2
How about woke medicine? We've already seen it. Remember the declaration by several hundred epidemiologists and others who proclaimed that systemic racism is as much of a threat to public health as is COVID?
2
Ah, yes, the social "progressives", proudly marching society backwards to the 1850s.
2
@j_freed A rational party would not start a fight with a greatly superior foe. (The Middle East, however, much like the Balkans, is a part of the world where rationality is extinct.)
2
I look forward to the DIE ethos being applied to professional sports. The results should be . . . interesting.
2
I'll agree that the way the DP is used currently, it does not work as a deterrent. It would seem prison sentences aren't a deterrent either, given that there are still plenty of people who commit crimes.
2
Flying on a plane means nothing, since there can be perfectly reasonable explanations for that. Using the 'services' allegedly provided on the island, however, is something to be concerned about. Let's see evidence for the latter.
2
Most 'normies' have no idea this is going on. They are only now just beginning to see it.

Medicine is falling. Law is not far behind.

Those who proclaim themselves to be the most moral and noble are almost always the most immoral and corrupt.
1
COVID revealed just how many quack doctors there are. And if not quacks, then very uncritical, unquestioning doctors.

Dr. Manyguns appears to be firing blanks.

"Forget it, Gad. It's Twittertown."

Adult human female. It's quite simple, really.

FBI now stands for Fully Bumbling Investigations.
1
The corporate/mainstream news networks have been professional liars for some time now.
1
You've a tough road ahead because the "Ukraine good, Russia bad" narrative has been pushed hard by the "news" media and politicians for a year now, and many people believe that narrative. I subscribe to the more realistic "Ukraine bad, Russia bad" position.
1
Amusingly, these groups in total have killed more of their own faith than those non-believers they've killed. Sunni vs. Shi'ite. Not unlike Protestant vs. Catholic several hundred years ago.
1
@proudatheist2042 The lawsuits which will get filed over the next ten years will be fascinating to watch.
1
@mickmcmenemy7701 Which means once the perpetually aggrieved realize its existence, they will undoubtedly demand its immediate memory holing.

Re: 3:31 and the acronym "WOC". I think the letter writer meant Women of Color.
1
@soleikam6662 Disregard it entirely and associate only with people who treat you as an individual and not just as some group identity? That would be my first thought.
1
The key point was when Calvin said GBNews wanted to be regarded as mainstream. That is the death knell for the network. It no longer wants to fight the establishment --- it wants to become the establishment.
1
I'll believe the climate activists are genuine about their concern when they finally start screaming at China, the #1 emitter of CO2 in the world for the last 17 years in a row. So far, China seems to escape their wrath.
1
Dig deeper. The suffragette movement was not the noble freedom fighters they are often portrayed as. They engaged in terrorism, for example. Also, look up the White Feather movement they participated in. Also, fun fact: in Canada, some women received the vote before some men did.
