I would not want to be in front of it.

TONY BELAS The Lewis and Clark expedition did take air guns with them.
12
isaac phone It is still better.
12
@ekscalybur 30 years. I bet i might even remember how to set the headspace and timing although that is now going to be obsolete.
12
Nice looking book. Although I would say written for a the market of machine gun collectors and possibly firearms museum curators. Yes there are lots of specialty bits added to MG operators in the military. One that I got to use was the M249 scraper tool. That weapon got dirty quickly. The scraper tool and lots of dry cleaning solvent were valuable in getting that weapon clean. I still have the tool. Unfortunately not the MG. The tool works great on other things.

@dreamingflurry2729 Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms should be the name of a convienence store.
12
@linusdn2777 Muscle memory.
11
Having fired 20 year old worn out M16A1's right before they were changed out for A2's. The forward assist was necessary.
11
@PassiveDestroyer Support troops outnumbered combat troops 4 to 1. There is a heck of a lot of paper that gets pushed to make supply chains move.
11
@Suompel Your weapon system was built by the lowest bidder.
11
@Gideon_Judges6 It was really just about money. Here spend your money on this for a while. Hey forget that we are gonna use this now. Next week we will change to something else.
11
Or maybe randomness is the theme.

I understand dealing with YT has been a pain for many content creators throughout the years. Definately made harder by obscuring the rules and policies. Getting no answers to direct questions etc. Good luck on this future endeavor.
10
Soaking the blanket helps.
10
@julian23561 I heard he came back but maybe should have stayed away.
10
Glad to see Logistics and Supply are still working just fine in world's militaries. Generals who win wars understand Logistics.
10
@BeingFireRetardant Fun fact other than a man who died of under unknown circumstances early in the expedition. Lewis and Clark returned home with every single person alive.
10
@Theelderdragon01 Immediate action. Remedial action was if it failed the second time.
10
These are the weapons you leave behind for the enemy to capture.
10
It does not have the toothpick.
10
You did not have enough dry cleaning solvent.
10
@DiggingFrance yes very. She worked and aided lots of projects. She is considered to be the Mother of Wifi and bluetooth.
10
@lucariolps277 Bicycles make excellent devices to move troops and equipment. Lightweight, quiet, speed of troop movement is better than walking, usable in various types of on and off road terrain. Also is an excellent way to keep troops in shape
10
@chriscary4074 Probably some were forced labor. You work for who has the gun pointed at you.
10
@RussianBlue4S Thanks.
10
The current military cannot account for thousands of rifles that were passed out to groups in the middle east. They are showing up on the black market.
10
Paul Harrell does not sell anything either.
10
I thought that until I bought one. A Walther P22. Not the best in the category but I like to shoot it a lot. All around decent pistol and great for training people who have never fired semi auto pistols before.
10
Ghost gun.
10
Kinda wish I had not dismissed them and bought one.
9
I was wondering where the bayonet lug is ?
9
@jalpat2272 Money. They did want to spend it.
9
Obviously to those of us with access to somewhat modern firearms this terrifying. However prior to 1800 most guns were mostly handmade. These guns were used for poaching animals how many times did they function correctly, how many animals were poaches using them? What you see is ingenuity for the lack of a better weapon they built one without a modern machine shop and without what most people would call a secondary school education. Would you want to shoot an elephant or rhino with one of these? They did. What this shows is what desperate people are capable of. We sit on youtube and judge those who are poor, starving and desperate by our standards. I am by no means justifying poaching or breaking the law.
9
One is. One is not.
9
@ScottKenny1978 We be asking why they did not adopt a heavier cartridge like the 7.62 Nato.
9
Good Sunday morning history lesson. Thanks Ian. Nice rifles
9
It will be ok. Only one guy has to get hit in the forehead and one blow his fingers off or nearly so. After that urban legends will proliferate. I know somebody who knows somebody that once heard a story about someone getting their eye put out. SAFETY DONE.
9
Carrying this thing sux.
9
And yet even stupider people keep voting for them.
9
He puts a video out almost everyday.
9
@timothye.2902 Meat target. Enough said.
9
Started long before WW2. Check out the Opium Wars.
9
@cptreech The British were producing like 400 fighters per month during the Battle of Britain where as the Luftwaffe was only producing about 170 ME109 per month.
9
@klausstock8020 hopefully the weapon would be pointed in a safe direction.
9
With historical background also.
9
Congrats to the winners. All the artwork looks great.
9
No just another elite person who uses their money to manipulate the people into a war so they can make a buck.
8
And now the weapon has been smuggled out of Morphy's
8
Or included a glass cutter so they could scavenge pieces from buildings on the battlefield.
8
@grzegorzbrzeczyszykiewic3338 Or when they did the dealers were long gone.
