Automatic means one trigger pull can send all the bullets from the magazine down the barrel. Likely they were semi-automatic, which means that one trigger pull sends one bullet down the barrel. If you're going to report on a subject, learn something about it. As it is, you choose to use more dramatic, but incorrect, terminology to illicit a response. You're telling a story, not reporting news. This is fine for a fictional dramatic show. It is not fine for an alleged news show. Just the facts, ma'am (and try to get those correct, it's kind of important to your credibility).

Do you fully support the Israelis, despite the fact that their own regional political policies have created this situation for themselves and ignore the fact that hardline Israeli leadership benefits from HAMAS? Do you advocate for the Palestinian civilians caught in the middle of the HAMAS terrorists and the Israeli "General Sherman's March"? Make a choice and have a majority of people disapprove either way. I suppose that sums up the responsibility of leadership.

  24.  Jeremy Parker  - Don't take my word for it. You can do your own research into how vaccines are created. It's not possible to make a vaccine that quickly and ensure efficacy or safety. Most people develop mild symptoms with covid19. There's no way that any doctor would administer a vaccine to potus that could be more dangerous than the virus itself.

  26. My business spends about about $4000 a month on fuel. That's not insignificant, but I'm all for paying more at the pump in order to know I'm not helping finance Russia's invasion of Ukraine!! Russian oil imports are only 3% of us oil use. Plus, if it has the added benefit of giving American workers in our own oilfield services companies added work or job demand, even better.

  32.  @notleviathan855  - I was going with the impression that since the guy had criminal intent legality wouldn't be a factor in what weapons he'd use. That's the thing some people leave out of the gun control arguments: a person with criminal intent doesn't care what law is on the books. They are already planning to commit crime, violating laws. Adding more laws won't remove the criminal intent or prevent the crime. It just means that the criminal will be violating more laws. In the case where the criminal commits suicide or is killed, the extra laws don't even result in more punishment because he's already dead. Either way, the news caster needs to check her facts or the integrity and intent of her story becomes questionable.

  37.  @jj007104  - I have an ethnic Russian friend who fled Donetsk (city in part of the region in eastern Ukraine that was taken by Russian proxies, not separatists) during the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Initially, when I tried to tell her war was coming and to be ready to leave, she didn't believe me because, being Russian, she watched the Russian news on TV (TV stations from Russia) and online with Russian news sources. They all were saying everything was fine, no fighting, nothing to worry about. She even blew me off saying, "no all that stuff is just in Kiev" regarding the Maidan revolution that had just taken place. Finally when gunfire was audible, she tells me she's so confused because Russian and Ukrainian news say opposite things. Luckily she left before the Russian proxies started shelling the city with captured artillery. Her grandmother wouldn't leave her home though and did die from injuries during an artillery strike. A not on "separatists" in eastern Ukraine: there were no separatists until AFTER Russia took over the regions. Russia used proxy fighters, foreigners that they bussed in, mainly criminals and anarchists supported by Russian special forces who trained them and called in helicopter gunship air support when Ukraine tried to retake the areas. After Maidan, even though there were some "anti Russian" murmers and potential legislation to make Ukrainian the sole official language, nobody in the eastern regions (Luhansk and Donetsk) cared because those regions were already mostly autonomous and governed themselves within the borders of Ukraine. As an added bonus, the first president of the Donetsk People's Republic wasn't Russian OR Ukrainian. The Russian people in Ukraine didn't pay much attention or care as to what was going on in Kiev and certainly weren't being persecuted. My friend didn't flee until the danger arrived FROM THE EAST, from Russia. I'm not sure what reporting you saw on it, but that's my experience from talking to someone who lived there and researching what was going on so I could relay less confusing info to her about what was happening in the geopolitical realm and where the Russians were moving. Unfortunately, we're playing the same game again. I'm having to watch the Russian invasion and give her outside updates that cut through some of the Russian and Ukrainian propaganda. Speak the Truth channel is a great resource. It's a couple former military guys who are doing the best they can to vet information and update a map and provide discussions and context based on the operational history in our (USA) recent wars.

The problem is that these planes are designed with software that tries (keyword: "tries") to fly the aircraft while completely disregarding the pilots control inputs if the software doesn't agree. Basically, the smarty pants tech motherfuckers who designed, approved, and coded the software don't have to risk their lives in a machine that argues with its human operator. There are issues with the fancy pants helmets and with there being needlessly extra steps to tell the aircraft how the pilot is intending to fly it. This will be listed as pilot error, but it's actually an error of the software designers not understanding or caring what the pilot needs and what he doesn't.

When the software designers don't solicit or (more likely) disregard the end users input on the efficiency, safety, or user friendliness of a software system, bad things happen. When that software is arguing or fighting with the human operator of a $100 million dollar weapon system, very expensive bad things happen. The F35 is basically not designed with the human pilot in mind. Obviously, the military wants to eventually completely remove the expense and liability of the pilot. Unfortunately, for the pilots in this interim period, the machines are not designed around them or even designed to obey their commands, if the computer software thinks it knows better. It's not difficult to find commentary from experienced fighter pilots who've flown various platforms who say the F35 is the most fatiguing fighter they've had to put up with.

It's use was then suspended as a covid19 treatment. There is no medical treatment that can cure covid19. It is entirely up to the body to work through it.   44. We still have lots of Americans saying, "see, lock downs and social distancing aren't reducing the spread." The really fun part of this is that it IS helping slow the transmission. 2 million deaths possible if people keep walking around like there's nothing to be concerned about... Or, 200k dead if we actually do things right. It could actually be much worse than that. Without proper ppe and enough ppe to change for each patient, medical workers will end up catching and spreading it and they'll get knocked out in bigger numbers than other counties. A triple whammy. Worse still is if medical personnel answer Cuomo's call to come help. Then take covid19 back to their communities. Stupid, stupid response. We got started Waaaay too late, in large part because president T-Diddy, being a certified medical doctor and scientific data analyst, said covid19 was very, very under control because we only had 9 cases. Wait, those 9 cases were out spreading covid19, unknowingly, for 14 days before actually getting sick with symptoms? That's kind of a pertinent thing to consider. Well, let's test people they've been in contact with and isolate. There's no tests available? Uhhh, well, if there's no tests available, we can't have any more confirmed cases.
