I am not just talking about who started mathematics, the very formulas you are referring to, is stolen Greek knowledge.. During the rapid expansion of the first Arabic Caliphate, the arab generals would pay their soldiers handsomely for giving them intact Greek books which would later be translated to Arabic.. Guess why.. If the Roman Empire had common borders with India during that time, they would use Indian numbers as well.. Also, most people today speak English for two reasons.. America is No.1 Superpower and it is easy/ basic as hell when compared to other languages.. Nothing more, nothing less.. However, French is also easy and now it is a matter of time until European people learn to speak French instead of English as their second language.. (Fun fact: That was the case 100 years ago) It won't happen overnight so you can laugh while you can.. But it WILL happen...
