@johnhooper4782 I am just explaining how modern politics work.. I did not try to relgulate anything.. Whatever you smoke stop it now.. In a modern democracy, the government does not ask their citizens' opinion for everything.. Because the average citizen is not in position to take the correct decision.. Therefore, the argument of "nobody asked us if we wanted to enter EEC or not" is weak and irrelevant.. The government you have voted for decided it was imperative that you enter the EEC. .

@johnhooper4782 Questions that have yet to be answered.. These are but a few of the problems modern Democracy has.. Yes Democracy is not the perfect political system.. Glad you discovered that.. A manifesto cannot predict everything.. See the Greek example, when people voted for the Left party, they did it because they wanted out of the Euro currency.. One year being government, and the Left party realizes this would be economically disastrous.. They even held a referendum and people once again, voted OUT.. What happened? They disregarded both their manifesto and the results of the referendum, and did not change anything.. They even put in effect new austerity measures.. Fast forward a few years later and now the average citizen will tell you that if the Left party did ONE thing right, that was not facilitating a Grexit...

@johnhooper4782 But I did answer, you just confirm you are in no position to take such important decisions.. The greek example is not irrelevant at all... It is the perfect example of when the opinion of the average citizen is WRONG!! Conclusion: UK did not have any other choice.. They had to join the EEC or face economic doom.. So the British government at that time took the obvious correct decision! :) Yes, some times the average citizen needs to trust the government he/she have voted for and zip it..

@johnhooper4782 By all means, I am not a UK citizen.. Good riddance as far as I care!! :) One option is to scrap voting altogether.. Another is the modern democracy we have now, where citizens vote for the elections and that's it.. I will zip it when salty people like you will zip it as well.... You are already out but I still find your comments under these videos..! It is really "strange"!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

@johnhooper4782 I would give the same advice to you! Look after your own and leave EU debates for the EU members.. Also your pathetic attempt of paralleling my arguments with those of Stalin's regime shows you have no idea what you are talking about.. Since you love votes and democracy so much, why aren't you advocating for a total Democracy? Ancient Athenian style.. Let's see where that will get you! :)

The argument of "this procedure is not enough democratic" is weak as democracy is far from perfect.. And the failure of Ancient Athenian Democracy is the first example we have in History...

@alfaqu Whatever you say.. According to international law though these are Greek territorial waters.. Everything else is irrelevant (like the distance our islands have from Turkey).. This is like demanding a share from Adrianople taxes just because it's close to Greek borders... That's how ridiculous you sound! :)
