We are stuck between... the old soveign colonial ties.. and then the modern republic push... neither of which is making the citizens' lives any better. Everyone is very miserable. You know.. if I have never thought about working for the Foreign Office before... boy... after this one. I really want to work in the FCO NOW...
If these doctors leave Nigeria.. then how can their babies be raised properly then? Somebody raised THESE doctors when they were babies. So how come, somebody helped raise THEM... only for this generation of youths.. to bite back at us ??? And to even tell us this is what the issues are ! LOL.... A lot of people have a good standard of living in the UK IS because, they gave up their own selfless position. There had been a lot of people who WERE doctors.. they went into the pharmas. Otherwise how would we have generated sector entirely ? And then you have Corbynistas... who flan the flames.. often... and repeatedly... and always...
I fell out with my family because of the NHS. We always argue over this. And this is beginning to hurt people throughout. The ones who are negligent, are often "covered up".. and not reprimanded at all? And this is why then.. to cover themselves, they force and push for a private sector model as well.. so that it is not the GMC that prosecutes. As a government unit, but then it is a private company that is being "failed by points". This is why, when you walk around the UK today. See how unhealthy some people are. See how healthy Japanese people are. See how healthy South Koreans are. Even see how healthy the Americans are. See us in the UK... we walk around with bits and bobs CHOPPED off us !!!! Even despite the internet is full of info, on self care, or nutritional advice and how to avoid things... we still get aimed to have mega whopping bits and bobs and policies, that forces us to have our bits taken away. Now, THAT is why the UK has not advanced. Actually. A lot of people wanted to cosmetic surgeries.. they left for South Korea... Even the likes of Yukon Wang ex-World Bank employee covered this angle as well. He stated, why doesn't the US, or the UK export healthcare services. In the UK, we have cut back a lot on our researches.. and this is the end results...

It is now 2022... UK is supposed to be a so called "advance" country... but we have our bits chopped off from us, which is still methods from the 1970s... or 1980s. Is this right, or, is this right? This is NOT right. In Japan, their elderlies continue to work...even if it is just a lot slower, they still work. Whether this is basic admins, or basic blood circulation work, to keep alive. They still do this, every day. What do I want to see in the UK? I want to see things like liposuctions, and removal of cancerous fats or cells and things like that. You would think that we would've broken through by now.... Also, stop stupid lipo or botox on the private. We should have them on the NHS. TIME people took a STANCE !!! And instead of botox.. we ought to know or consider things like, how to eat well to boost collagens. We should also consider non-alcoholic beers as well... We don't innovate, and that is HALF the issue with us in the UK.

@draem01 : If a student cannot write a single stroke in a character, what DO you call THAT !!!! Some kids are not even able to speak their own lingo back from their own hometown, and they adopted "mandarin", even when "mandarin" are only for officials if you happen to work for foreign companies, or for the UN, or for the World Bank or something. But oh NO.... This is toooo much !!!! How stupid is that ? And then we have kids here, that brags about "oh, I have a 5G phone... (and you don't!)..." That's right, I don't have a 5G phone cos ass!es like yourself keep making clothes, to the gazillion level... and flooding the market and cheapened it !!! And we keep buying ! Stop your factories then ! When 1.4 billion people, ALL work, AT the same time... I think too many things are produced already, like 200 times over already !
There are sooo many TV shows now showing how the real china is, to the world, and we are shocked. So how come, you can have like a "concubine" system in place? So a 20 year old, can marry a 50 year old, and that is fine ? No wonder when the other world leaders did a mega big campaign.. and then deliberately divorced their wives, and then broadcasted on TV that they are onto their second, and supposed THIRD wives... THIS is the ULTIMATE issue really ! So how come young women do not marry these days then ? So how come, they don't just have a single child and be done with ? We now have wealthy 50 year old, chasing a new child, cos one child policy just broke out ? WTF is this ?! As my mother said.... "just find somebody and not have a child for your age". She is right about that. The world needs to be reduced really. Nothing to it. I don't know what is worst ??
Why isn't PRC act like Taiwan did ? Which was to create big marriage ceremonies in order for their next generation to carry on that baton ? Or to have euthanasia on the cards, so that people can indeed past on their wealths ?

@Dwightstjohn-fo8ki : That is not what "tongs" are for. Tong stands for a "Hall". And normally, it is used inside China... cos it is a "community hall". And that is also the case, cos it is actually part of the family or relatives etc. So, why would the "Tongs" actually be a part of this setup today? Do you know what I mean ? I have seen some YT videos on this, and do not truly believe it. Some of the Tongs.. ended up helping the families get back home, and those only truly existed in shipping cities. So Van has this as well? But from which region? HK doesn't have these tongs.. since, well.. the UK government took care of the people whom they helped. And the other shippers, has zero nothing to do with the rest of us. So yeh.. there was indeed an actual chinatown... but I am not too certain, and believe that, anybody else, subsequently have a right to those Tongs, or those Chinatowns ? Cos you were not those people who worked there? So why should you takeover something that belonged to somebody else, right?
These people needs to get their facts straights, before they ruin other people's lives as well. One of the cases that I know quite well as well in the UK... Cos it was where my grandfather worked. And I asked my mother this question. That is where your grandfather's "chi tong", but that she meant, "this is where he worked". But the place, actually, was opened by a mixed-race American, as well as with an actual local British guy as well. It was his money, and then they found people to work there. And this place boomed. Only because Britain did have a Commonwealth, and people go there, only because they assumed that they are not allowed anywhere else? Cos you cannot own land rights, or property rights, for a long while. There was deportation as well... I don't know the background to regions like Liverpool, or why there is a "Chinatown" ... That business is kind of sold on, I think, and in the end, it didn't last like 3 generation any more. People paid taxes, and then that is how an area grow. But I don't think people stayed there in the end, and when the Commonwealth was no more either. So most of the next generation kids, knows that you have to make choices. Which way to go? So...
It is funny that you say this, cos even in the USA.. you have those "campuses" that the Silicon Valley has. And they call them "townhalls". Where people gather, and have a chat about what is happening to 1) the company, 2) the community, or 3) projects.
To be honest, I think you genuinely need to read between the lines a lot more, and look into this. Cos even from those colonial days.. the word "Tong" is also used as a branding label now. I can see that a lot in SE Asia.. in general. Some kind of cough syrup label. Those might have been the original shipping processes, but then factories open, and those halls are closed, and the people you hire are no longer relatives. Or your communities any more. If this is current day Public Security Bureaus.. well.. that is a different kind of fish, and you need to figure that out. Don't drag innocent people into this. If Fuijianese were never allowed to live like those who did or was from HK... then.. those are and WERE two different sets of LAWS.. at that time.
In English, everybody uses the word "chinese".. but WHO were WHO.. is important.. imho. Unless you are also from Singapore, and Malaysia.. and kind of trying to retrospectively go back and assume that those laws apply to you as well..

@RainFS1 : First of all.. it is untrue that, people cannot own land inside China. They can. They can, especially if they were the descendents of the imperial civil servants of the past. They can own those lands, and they can live on those lands. When "developers" buy a piece of land and then to develop on, then this is different. The thing with the PRC is that, there were areas whereby it isn't as such.. so "communism" means to reconcile all regions to be communal.. or the same focus. But how is this possible? Some areas have people living on there that they have paid off in the past generations, and worked to pay them off already. Whereas some people have extra children.. or grandchildren.. and want an actual house for them.. So what do they do? They sell their extra lands, in order to swap a percentage for the developers to develop on. In the past... people work... and then their salaries basically buy the building materials ! Nothing was free. It's a straight swap. Swapping money or swapping food for resources. How did you think people's wooden houses actually get created? And why some people lived in shanty towns ? Craftsman are the people who learnt a trade to build houses or monuments... But what about the areas that didn't have such craftsman ??.... Do you see how the revolution, "out with the olden style".. and "in with the new styles" kind of caused a future.. chaos ???... Look at some of the older videos.. and you will see old housing... and begin to see why, or what. It's just.. always a case of.. "too much too soon, too fast."

They did some nice things.. I didn't know about the Vice owning Buzz feed, that was funny. Or some of their articles there were. And then, some of the Vice's documentaries were. But I didn't like the Vice Asia... that looks more like an actual "lifestyle" brand.. than anything.. It is so ghetto'd that it is pretty surreal ???..... It's another typical...."tattoo, graffitti... skateboard...... drugs....".... But that was already covered, and been through HELL... AND back... into living life. In the UK, we have had indie websites like Urban75... and various publications like... ID... Bennetton's "Color".... (which I used to buy a LOT)..... And then Marie Claire as well.... I used to get so much of the female's issues via Marie Claire. So.... Maybe that was what went on behind the scenes in Canada.. but I have been through, that, been there, done that. And came out of it already. I still have old copies. So to me... I don't see them bringing anything new any more. Unless it is new readers... so.... Like most oldies. I listen to radio these days. Or mainstream media. Cos Vice have had its time, most possibly.
UK had a lot of..... 18-30's young magazines... so.....
Smash hits/Color/ID/Marie Claire/Face.... just a lot, a lot... If they had the guts. Then they should've poached some of the female magazines... and own them.. and transition into something else. And then split Facebook or Meta.... And then allow them to write some of the warzone stories from the female's perspectives. Cos that was what the whole 1990s.. were all about for us... when it was "that thing there"....
