It isn’t….The CCP is in the process of nationalizing the housing market….Very soon, there will be very few for-profit builders….(But, as usual, the CCP underestimates the economic mega-reach of the industry : the ten+ million realtors will be out of work—along with all of the jobs that were dependent on having a true real estate MARKET…. Beijing’s refusal to even bail out the two largest builders in the country is evidence of their intentions (along with the announcement of an upcoming “national rollout’ of China’s new subsidized housing (which will use the tens of thousands of unsold units + those from sellers unable to sell)—and it will come with major strings attached : Like the subsidized not being able to change employers—or lose their apartments….The Government’s knot of control over the ppl just keeps tightening ….
