  4. Considering encryption capable radios are no longer cost prohibitive I'm surprised there any companies or departments still left on analog or open digital at all. Even many UHF CB radios here in Au are encryption capable.

  39. AM is alive and well here in Au with more than 470 transmitter sites. In a vast majority of Au the only signals are AM. No TV or DAB or even FM. I live in the country and still dial into SW occasionally 🤣

  44. Do Truckers/Truckies/HG Lorries use 27meg in the UK/EU like the US? Here in Au they moved to 477Mhz leaving 27Mhz dead a a door nail (which is good for those of us that still have it).
