Ugly but genius design. Pity they went all typically Russian with it and annoyed everyone.
2
China 🙄
2
Why are they called Mini Buzzers and not just a Buzzer? In contrast what then is a Maxi Buzzer?
2
🤣
2
How long ago was this issue? I drove cabs in Au over 30 years ago and we already had data terminals way back then.
2
What are you using for an antenna?
2
@andw2638 🤣
2
27Mhz is completely dead here in Oz.
2
I wonder why so many have gone to the trouble and cost of removing the installations entirely as opposed to simply abandoning it as so often happens with defunct systems.
2
Also sold as the BTECH Mobile UV-50X3
2
@Keystone_Investigations Replace the words 'stupid remarks' with 'facetious remarks'. Anyone who thinks being in close quarters of a transmission tower, cellular or otherwise, is safe is an idiot.
2
In the modern world of cyberspace I think these shortwave analogue number stations only exist to keep other spook departments busy. There is no valid reason for any field operator to listen to these antiquated transmissions.
2
4:18 "What do you think?" I think they're doing what they've always done. Bumbling along drunk.
2
The only hysteria around 5G where I live in Au is that it is rubbish. The range is pathetic. It struggles with anything in its path.
2
Why?
2
@woodybollox What sort of response is that? Are you 12 years old?
2
There's no denying antennas are ugly.
2
2:42 Algeria. Not much has changed. How fitting 😆
2
UK sure has some weird laws.
2
😀
2
Pirate Radio just isn't a thing here in Au at all. I've never knowingly heard one on any band.
2
😀
2
Here in Au I've never found a Pirate Radio Station in all my 60 years. It's just not a thing here.
2
Friggin China 🙄
2
Are the UK Police encrypted?
2
🤣
2
Where's the crackpot comments? Loosing your touch Lewis. 😆

Looks like my rebel army will be using HF with greater anonymity and freedom come the apocalypse
2
Neither are drivers licenses it seems 🤣
2
@Knaeckebrotsaege Better but still torture. Imagine having to sit there staring at a waterfall for ever and ever. Who does that?
2
@fruitytv-uk With HF being full of pops and crackles and drift and spurious noise there's a lot of audio changes going on constantly so someone would still need to listen to all those recorded changes to get what we have in this video.
2
Wow. Small antennas for sub Mhz.
2
@-6.6- English speaking channel Alexx
2
TV license? Bwahahahahah 🤣 That's so stupid it's hilarious! What sort of muppet would do that for a job? Hello from Australia where TV is so unprofessional, immature and childish they need to pay us to watch it.
2
What if there's a blackout or transmitter failure?
2
For giggles start transmitting old recordings on their old frequencies again in QRP as a pirate. The spook world will get all messed up wondering what the hell is going on.
2
Many of us watching from outside the UK have absolutely zero clue what PMR 446 is. From what I can gather it's 446 MHz handheld walkie talkie only with irremovable antenna at 5w with (16? 32? 48?) channels yes?
2
They're right about foreign nations and journalists being liars.
2
😀
2
And do what with it?
1
These are illegal to use here in Au period due their 'out of band' capability even if only used on ones licenced frequencies.
1
Here in Oceania everything from 3 to 300 Meg is a complete free-for-all. Asia doesn't give a shit.
1
This dude ain't got nothing on Scientology or the Vatican. A true amature.
1
3:15 What on earth happened to that poor discone antenna?
1
Here in Au the Strangest Secret Government Numbers Station is the Department Of Transport Vehicle Registration Section.
1
4:51 That horrible noise is Australian commercial radio harmonics. 🤣
1
Delays are fantastic pocket liners for certain elements. Private Consultants, Bureaucratic Departments generating job security, Political Friends... Your country has mastered this process for centuries. (and no you will never find out the true eye-watering amount spent on this)
1
I'm struggling with the legality of the RB91. Here in Au everything in the 400-470MHz band requires a licence.
