I think the spot lights may be considered a potential pedestrian hazard in the rest of the world, pusher bars are not a big thing in the rest of the world either. May be considered a risk to public safety in most other countries.
4
Skids, do you mean burnouts?
4
They were RHD first in the UK, LHD in Europe

Lots of more modernish factory chryser cars in Australia, neons, 300s, PT cruisers, calibers, journeys, Avengers and various Jeep models.

15:15, they had rudimentary scaffolding, cranes and lifting equipment even back then, was it safe probably not but it got the job done.

I believe There are some nice truck stops on the east coast of Australia, but head west across the Nullarbor a lot of the Roadhouses/truck stops are at least 40 year-old structures. The truck stop areas are mostly gravel, the Roadhouses usually have concrete pads by the pumps but everything else is old worn asphalt and gravel. It's also a two lane highway (one lane each way and no divider), pretty much from Perth to the east coast.

Going through Melbourne many decades ago, saw a racing semi truck. Easy to pick, 5th wheel removed and area covered in stainless steel. Humungos rear wing, big turbo and exhaust when he put the foot down, it just lifted and took off bloody brilliant

The CVPI's are probably great to drive, because they handle way better than the stock version.

15 amp is generally used on caravans and campers

The grooved were a thing back in the day, to reduce grip and promote closer racing.

Walk in robes only really only became a thing when houses became supersized in the 20 years, most flats you would have to supply your own wardrobe.

@IWrocker size and thickness helps identify them the blind, 5 cent smallest and thinest, 2 dollar bigger than 5 cent but smaller than a 10 cent 2 dollar is three times the thickness of a 5 cent, 10 cent is between the $2 and $1 and thinner than the 1 & 2 dollars, $1 sits between the 10 cent and 20 cent and is about the same thickness as the 20 cent coin, 20 cent coin is bigger than than a $1 coin but smaller than the 50 cent coin and finally there's 50 cent coin the biggest and heaviest of the coins. All except the 50 cent are round and each one has a different edge pattern on them, the 50 cent has a multi faceted edge as well as smooth edges

Think there were body kits for 935 front panels for 911's in the late '70's and early '80's in europe
3
Most of the cars they rally in europe would be considered niche cars in the states, probably wouldn't get enough sales to be worthwhile.
3
Now where have I heard that before?
3
Sadly any government that deals with lobbyists, the citizens will get screwed over
3
Aussie super cars do race in new Zealand and have raced in other countries in the last 10 years.

Most new housing where I live, housing blocks are about a 1/3 of the size they used to be 30 years ago and houses cover over 80% of the block now.
3
@kennethprocak5176 so you can't see this could be a potential problem for the locals, if there is an influx of well off people moving into an area. With the possible result of property in poorer areas going up in price and out of the reach of locals?

Couple of things Ian, the crewman dual cab had a half chassis and removable tub/bed. Was powered by 3.6 V6 or 5.7 V8, mostly auto's manuals were dying out by then. Was also available as a RWD or an AWD, plus as a HSV think was called an avalanche. The Chevrolet SS, could be super sport or super sedan, sports car for the family man, you know like you.

Galvanized corragated iron roofing

In Australia, we a lot different cement truck types here. Ranging from mini mixer trucks, American and European dual steer trucks, longer trucks with larger mixing drums and semi cement mixers.
3
Pretty close to the truth about the big American trucks, when your paying close to 100k for them. You're not gonna trash them in the bush, even old ones your gonna be paying a ton of money for them.
3
Looks like a Morgan
3
Being a LHD market, would be relatively easy to import American cars to Europe.
3
The downside of scanning your own shopping is you're doing someone out of a job.
3
Yeah I remember when colour TV came into Australia, my family didn't get a colour TV until the late '70's.

American judiciary is not independent, sadly it's owned by big business which is why the little guy always gets screwed by the courts
3
Your kids are going to grow up with a greater understanding of the world, than most US kids and that can only be good for the US😊
