The Actman absolutely nailed the issue of trash talking in video games. It’s needed but so is a filter button but that’s it. Block and move on or grow some thicker skin and dive into the chaos of voice chat. That said I only really play single player cos meh to other people when I’m seeking escapism after work. But for real, this puts me off buying a Xbox.

One simply cannot change their biological sex, it is impossible. As a result fo this basic fact ignored I am getting tired of this endless rejection of reality which some seem to want to take advantage of. And I point that at both sides of the aisle. Mr I am anti SJW but supportive of the trans community. If you were supportive you would point out the truth of gender and the inability to change it which would give a better foundation to the confused people known as transexual (which is a binary condition). And yes, I stand by that comment, feelings, perception and reality do not always tally however facts can help place oneself better in reality.

Interesting. Kinda poking the....bear here Jeremy. Careful, he may like it.

Alex Jones. I mean, I always liked the guy for the memes but at what point does one have to accept that a lot of what that dude has ranted about has turned out to be shown legit some years after the fact. Also. I miss Jones on YT, him constantly interrupting his guests and going off on wild tangets. Was hella entertaining.

@scottydu81 CHeck out BioEthics. It rejects the Hippocratic Oath and is basically Eugenics with a modern rebrand. Apparently it's a better use of finite resources paid for by people who have paid into the system their whole lives to save young lives, that may not have paid in at all and their parents are welfare scum, over older lives. EDIT. They can talk about efficent use of resources all they want, a young life is a cow still to be milked (taxes, consumer spending etc). An old life is dry and unproductive in the eyes of our techoncratic wannabe overlords. SO best to get rid of them sooner rather than later... Call me old fashioned but those who pay for the service should get the service without UK style death panels. Sincerly, a Brit who loaths the NHS for the terrible life decisions it supports in people while denying treatment to an OAP that they waited a year just to be told they are not worth the cost of an operation they have more than paid for via taxation through their life.

I demand better representation for the hitherto discriminated against class of tanks called Cromwells. There's a reason General Percy Hobart, a very high energy person, picked them for his 'Funnies' after all. However the overtly American mass produced Shermans got all the... lime light. I'll see myself out.
2
Jeremy, for real. You need to seed styxhexenhammer666 some coffee brand coffee. Just the other day someone superchatted if he had tried it and he said no but he probably should. Protip. Styx likes his coffee to be coffee and not flavoured this or that. Unless it’s maple syrup apparently. New flavour idea there cos I sure have never trued maple syrup flavoured coffee.
2
Wait wot!? I thought ‘‘twas a bit of harmless fun betwix creators but it seems StyxHexanhammer666’s Cat winning has unhinged some people. That cat has my vote.
2
@DavidBrielmaier Adrenochrome. Just how many more times will the humble merchant of water filters be proven right?
2
@jamesduncan6729 Wrong. See Kevin the great's comment. Not sure how that talking point got started but I've seen it before ie made up for Fear and Loathing. Still never seen that film funnily enough.
2
This scene brought to you by an actress that needed therapy just for doing her dream role. Sorry, I don't respect such blatant weakness cos, well, it shines through via over compensation which imo is why everyone seems to be giving her the most flak for her performance.
2
I saw a man outside a cash machine jumping from leg to leg and I asked him why. He said I'm checking my balance.
2
@Takeda Shingen Not to be that guy but you are wrong on a very basic scientific level. Pretty much any thing can be destroyed and I've created things in my lifetime. its energy that cannot be destoryed or created. Big difference between quantum waveforms being sucked into blackholes and remembered through the quantum foam or quantum entanglement and a spaceship not being destroyed during spaghettification as it nears the event horizon let alone us fleshy things not being destroyed going within a couple million miles of a blackhole. The thing with that quote is it points to something that is basically true on all levels. It's easier to destory something than it is too create. Takes a lot for a solar system to come together, not so much for it get scattered as its host Sun goes supernova or Red Giant mode. On a more human level good people tend to do difficult things that evil people are not willing to do, to get by. It's a philosphoical quote imo more than something to be viewed in a sicentific light.
2
@usern4metak3ns You get it. Fun fact, ze Nazies invented, ie created, epipens. And wheelchairs. As well as a whole slew of things that can assist in a Blitzkrieg. Although I'd say nukes were invented in the same ethose as that great Winston Churchill quote. "The best defense against great evil is a few good men trained in great violence." But yeah, bio and chemical more on the evil side of creation.
2
@Incubansoul Yep, the full quote makes much better sense and less open to interpretation. Funny how people almost never use the actual quote.

That Eli Lilli tweet was sweet. That said, am the only one left whose like. Nothing is free in life. Sure subsidize the meds for the most needy but everyone else? I need painkillers to deal with 2x work accidents that have damaged my spine. But I work so I should not get those meds for free. If I did not work I should still not get them free but marginally subsidized to buy from my benefits. If you cannot manage that then frankly you need to cut some vices/luxuries out. Sucks to be you for sure but even working 36 hours a week I can barely afford the things I need so why should you get free medz just for existing? Provide or starve frankly. We need a bit more Jamestown style thinking if you ask me. Anyway. Great entertainment either way. Can't believe a manager puked just because they were forced to do their job. Zero sympathy for anyone at Twitter from this working class man that actually provides a service to his community via being a chef at a local pub.

Fred Jones laughs in 8 years of making homebrew :)

Sounds like these hacks are jelly. Mkay. Somerone should phone the jelly hotline. Mmmmmkay.
2
@edmondgreen7970 Yeah because NPCs are well known for carrying contentious opinions that go against prevailing wisdom. Also having assburgers means sarcasm does not translate well, especially in the written form. So. Whose the NPC now :P
2
@OjiOtaku You have to try really hard to miss the point that badly. “Honest Abe” freed slaves in the south for military and economic purposes while allowing Northern States to continue the practice. That is what we call a hypocritical tyrant. Also it’s notable that the peace terms brokered by the Brits and the French included ending the slave trade. Confederacy agreed. Abe wanted his bloody civil war so rejected the British and French efforts. In conclusion. Abe could have freed all da slaves but instead selectively freed some. Can I get some Fs in chat for John Wilkes Booth. Kingslayer.

Imgaine my surprise....

Well this was good of them but to little to late. I will be waiting for a Steam release which means Steam sale so 4A will be getting even less money from me as the last time I bought a triple AAA game on release was Halo Reach but I was going to dig into my pockets for Metro's full price day one release simply because I wanted to support the devs with my hard earned money. However needless to say I will not be now even if the game is ten dollars less on Epic.

@Likexner A number of things. Density of wording, advanced vernacular, focus shifts and most importantly one's own skill at reading. The Hobbit is a fairly easy read for a kid as it is basically a story wrote for Tolkien's kids but LOTR was difficult for 11 year old me. Plus it is using a form of English that is increasingly outdated, not as bad Shakespeare but you can tell it was wrote in a different time period. But then again I have Dyspraxia which is like Dyslexia but messes with balance as well so learning to read was difficult in the first place. Oh and single hardest book to read award I personally award to Stalingrad by Antony Beever. An absolute tome of knowledge wrote in such a way that even a mate of mine with multiple masters degrees in various fields passed the book back to me unfinished. Not because he was not interested in the largest battle of all time but because he could not keep up with the authors narrative choices that jump all over the god damn place. One moment you, as the reader, are in a maggot infested Red Army field hospital built into a crevice on the banks of the river Volga and the next you are in Berlin earlier in the war. Therein having a finer/background detail of Barbarossa explained via Ribbentrop or Molotov. Or just a random experience someone had the author wanted to include. Top notch book. You should read it if you did indeed read all that just now lol.
2
@libertyprime69 I'm currently playing a mix of System Shock Enhanced Edition (if you can forgive the 1994 graphics it is still a really good game) and Subnautica. Triple A gaming is not getting a penny from me...until Metro arrives on Steam and DOOM Eternal comes out but the way things are going there will be anti-consumer nonsense surrounding it's release as well undoubtedly.
2
@nisc7330 Dude. It's a youtube comment section. You are going to get insulted... Oh and it's a shitty business practice because the market for Metro has been cornered. That is anti competition and bad for consumers.

Man, this makes me feel old. Dexters Laboratory was my favourite.

I imagine having whispy whiskers would be a sign of feebleness in a dwarven society. If some people are honestly looking at that image and thinking but she does have a beard you need to have a bloody word with yourself. "That anit no beard, only a human or an elf would ever call that a beard!" He says in his best Gimli. MFW if there's no overt specism going on I'm gonna be pissed.
2
All I'm hearing is the very people that made the situation far worse than it ever needed to be trying to prevent any kind of accountability. Which is ironic as that's what such people normally harb on about.
2
7:50 Well executed. That is the term you are looking for Mr Quartering.
2
Don't you just love it when a media article tells you what to think about an entertainment item? As a lore savvy LoTR nerd I can say that Rings of Power is ruining the lord of the rings. Where's Galadriels husband at? Oh of course she has to strong indepedent women. Yeah well that screws with certain character timelines that are important for Lord of The Rings. This should have been an easy slamdunk for Amazon. Instead we get this absolute dross that carps all over the established lore and for what reason? Creative bankruptcy? Woke dogma? Not enough Fs to give despite the $$$. This show was a massive mistake and as far as I am concerned it is too late to change things without having to simply throwout the first season and start again.
2
Yo, Jeremy. Ayadin Paladin hella deserves a shout out rather than just screen time second hand via someone elses tweet on your screen. Just sayin. The woman does good work.
2
Loved that intro. Some good vintage clips and some new, sublime.
2
Excellent intro. Superb.
2
MFW I love triggering those who deserve by recounting that time I went pigeon shooting with a mate, shot and bagged 13 pigeons. Took them home, plucked, prepped and butchered the lot. Offal for dogs, small breast Medalion for me and family. I was happy, local farmer was happy. Less flying rats in the area. Win win win.
2
Just how many times can one company collapse but still keep limping along? It’s like a SJW version of the black knight. “Tis but a scratch, have at thee!”
2
@s_hunt4218 I don't buy the rationale when I am expected to accept a black Ann Boleyn as an Englishman.
2
@Jacob-ed1bl You just admitted there is something wrong here, it's the same with Rangz of Power. Just because some writers have a terrible idea it does not mean actors/actresses have no agency in accepting the role.
2
@intorsus-volo Tbh that is true of most mega rich people. They are asset rich but capitol poor without liquidating assets. Soemthing leftoids fail to understand when they wax lyrical about the rich and their on paper valuation.
2
I’ll look forward to the drunken Reiketa Law livestream covering this.
2
1:28 Now I've never been a big fan of star wars, thought it was a bit cheesy tbh, but that little meme right there is just so god damn wholesome. In the eyes of fans that star wars store owner really has trans(lel!)cended to Jedi Master status in the culture wars. Must feel good in his twilight years.
2
@Godwins47 i’m sorry to hear that. May I suggest that you accept that some people will find humour in this context. I personally find rape jokes entirely distasteful but having worked inna kitchen for 10 years I accept some people will go there. Especially chefs for some reason. They tend to have quite dark senses of humour.
2
@nisc7330 Weren't you crying about being insulted elsewhere? And yet here you are throwing around insults... By the way your argumentation is really fucking weak sauce bro. 4A said nothing to the effect of don't care get lost nobody hears you (you clearly are listening). In fact they went out of their way to say that what that one guy said is not reflective of either 4A, Deep Silver or Koch Media.
2
@Gringo-Billy You glow. You sent the same copy and pasted comment to more than one person that called you out.
2
2:27 non clown world translation. Should the competition be allowed to compete with our monopoly?
2
I miss video responses :(
2
@reikun86 Exactly. It made for better organic engagement amongst users and fans of users. Makes one wonder just how long the powers that be in Youtube have been anti organic community driven content and responses. You can gauge someone's body language or vocal cadence in a video response, you can't in a tweet or comment response. Leading to lots of needless misinterpretations between people that drive clicks. Makes me go hmmm but either way. God I feel old cos I 'member when YT used to be kick arse for content creators. Now It's like a corporate curse on anyone who makes it on it.
2
Things like putting political murals directly onto active transport links is inly designed to generate these kind of headlines.
2
@rrmackay Lol, nice one.
2
@arkane5260 That's kinda the whole point lol. I mean my 37 inch LCD TV in my bedroom is just a PC monitor, no TV signal tuned in, so I can lay down in bed and game/watch videos/do stonks. However upon occasion a movie will actually catch me as I sit down to eat and I will stay in the kitchen and watch it. Most recently happened with Die Hard on Boxing day after work lol. But hey, that was DIe Hard. Of course I had to watch that at least once over Christmas.
2
@Rose.Of.Hizaki Depends if I have been at work or not as I work in a kitchen so after work just boring easy stuff however something I found which is awesome and kinda my own thing. Shallow fried chicken coaked in wholemeal rye flour mixed with a bunch of different herbs, spices and seeds for extra fibre. Takes about 5 minutes to prep, 3-4 minutes to cook and so long as you like spicy food it is delicious. And really quite lean calorie wise compared to premade supermarket stuff and packed full of nutrients and fibre. 50g wholemeal rye flour 1g parika 1.5g smoked/hot praprika 1g cayenne pepper 1.5g oregano 1g chilli powder 1g gram chilli flakes 1g garlic granules 1g onion granules 1g seaseme seeds 1g chia seeds. Enough to do 6 large chicken breats. You will need to pound flat the chicken before rolling in the flour mix so they cook quickly and evenly on a medium heat. Serve with whatever you fancy, chips salad rice etc. I normally just throw it in a wholemeal breadbun with a little mayo or sweet chilli for dipping.
