  9. ​ @alphawolf8031 that is not true. I'm not saying 50 baboons are killing a lion or chasing it away. But in a cage match 30 hyenas would kill a male lion. (After most of them are dead) They run because they don't want death if you took away that fear they'd kill him.

  32.  @peacefulman6672  a top predator is a predator that has no predators of its own. Lions don't eat wild dogs, hyenas, cheetahs, crocodiles etc. So their all top predators. Lions and other predators of africa do sometimes eat jackals, and small cats which is why they're meso predators.

  46. @Bhusayy-jd3ld  Leopards take kills in trees to avoid it being stolen by lions or hyenas. Jaguars could do the same, but they have no reason. Jags are larger, stronger, and more robust than leopards.

Lions got punked by short faced bears. Wild dogs and hyenas are much better hunters than them. And several predators are stronger than them.
