  10. When is the last time a government lab changed the world? A typical airconditioner would need to melt 12,000 lbs of salt per day. Then, it would have to re-freeze the salt. That would be 8 pounds per minute. Liquids are easy. Solids would require a lot of moving parts that would ruin the efficiency. There are already mechanical rotating wheel dehumidifiers that this design could be based on. But, I think this is all just fake news.
