  2.  @25beee  Another great example of someone who use their personal opinion as facts. First of all, this is a disorder that causes addiction. The root of the addiction is purely genetic, but the symptoms are those of an addict. They even use addict treatment to lessen the sypmtoms of the disorder, though this is expensive for the people who have custody of these PW kids. Also, it's been vividly know for quite some time that addiction in general is genetic, so where you get the idea that all people who become addicted to alcohol or drugs "choose" to do so, I don't know. And what does the fact that a lot of people are in denial these days have to do with the fact that Katy is in denial? What I was saying was basically that people like her don't even understand that it's a mental defense mechanism, and thereby she can't do anything to help herself, thus she needs tough love. What's the fact that other people are in denial got to do with it? Like, what's your point besides that a lot of people are in denial? And you end off by basically saying that what I said was true? Are you confused or something?

It's not like they can live independently just because people around them "accept" that they weigh 400lbs and smell like a lard omelette. They die if they don't learn to have discipline.

I'm talking about discipline as a synonym to be in control of yourself, mastering yourself and being able to say no when your heart or tummy says yes. The word can be used both ways granted, but I didn't mean they should cane her.

  23.  @dipl8150  You're kind of inconsistent in your arguments here starting out by saying she is delusional and have too much freedom, then you're apologetic towards her saying she'a still trying hard. Which one is it - delusional or trying hard? Can't be both. Did you see the people in the pws home? They were trying hard. Positive attitude, calm and collected, followed the rules. That's trying hard. Katie couldn't do that for 24 hrs - that's not trying at all. She screamed, cried, wrecked the bowling trip for everyone and then cried some more because she couldn't have a package of digestive crackers and a household cheese for evening snack. Black girl even called her deluded, big ups for her. Besides, this doc is from 06. There's a newer one featuring Katie and she's fucken huge in that one. Almost twice the size in thisun. Complete disaster. And I still blame her parents, mostly her deluded mother who was interviewed in the newer one. Becky has moved to a pws home sfar as I've learned which is 👌 and what's become of brotha Sachin who also put in a piss poor effort by filling his poor parents fridge with 60£ worth of ice cream and choc pud nobody seems to know. If he had diabetes and actually went on to drink more than a lifetime supply of strong spirits I think I can guess though. Speaking of which I drank so much last sunday I was hungover til yesterday.

  24.  @dipl8150  It is inconsistent to say that you agree that someone who thinks she's trying hard is delusional and then say "but she's still trying hard". If you think otherwise then you're in fact delusional or you just refuse to admit when you're wrong because you're emotionally attached to the subject. I am saying that all people with pws who end up like that haven't tried hard enough. The people who end up like the people in the pws home have tried hard enough. What one man can do another can do, at least when it's not about winning the olympics.
