She needs to be disciplined by the Conservative Party, possibly prosecuted for breaking the law, and deselected by her constituency as an MP. She also needs to have her Damehood taken from her. This is not because Russell Brand may be an entirely innocent person - i know nothing about that. Whether he is or not, this is an attack on the very principle of free speech. She should not be allowed within ten miles of Parliament.

Saint Thomas's Hospital in London has a special unit seeing 200 patients per annum trying to alleviate the damage caused by this procedure having been inflicted on them. There are 16 specialist units throughout the country doing the same. We have had, in 40 years, one prosecution.

  28. I get fed up with this, 'You British neglect your old people, you stick them in a Home and forget about them' nonsense. More than 90 per cent of old British people are looked after by one or more family member, when they need to be looked after. This is not always in the family member's own home, as there is often not enough space. British old people who end up in Old People's Homes at the end of their lives are usually (a) requiring round-the-clock care which can only be provided professionally, or (b) have been predeceased by all their relatives. This has been investigated.

It is worrying to have a huge number of young, probably single, men hardly or not at all speaking the language, knowing nothing about the history, geography, politics, sociology or religion of the country, and having dangerous misconceptions about the customs - for example, they may not realise that an unaccompanied girl walking home from school is not a prostitute. It's a question of numbers. Take too many incomers, and they will not integrate, but form ghettos.

  47. Charing Cross Hospital in London's Accident & Emergency Department failed to diagnose my broken arm - I had tripped and fallen on the pavement. Apparently, they could not read X-rays. I thought it felt broken, but having been told adamantly that it was not, I inflicted further damage on it. It was finally correctly diagnosed by a consultant orthopaedic surgeon six months later. I have had 18 months of pain and inconvenience.

The Chinese talk about 'tofu buildings' where you can literally pick the outside walls apart with your bare hands, with very little effort. Shanghai is not typical of the rest of China.
