In saner times he was of course unelectable but now we are in the age of fools he's being dragged from behind the curtain and the wreath placed on his head by the ERG, they think they will control him as the Praetorians thought they would control Claudius. I think they will though because Johnson really is a idiot with no political skills neither is he an able administrator and it will all descend into chaos and a feeding frenzy of corruption, Britain is at a real crossroads in history.

Either way it's clear that many in the electorate are deeply cynical and have no moral compass, the British electoral system is so undemocratic and broken that they treat it as a joke, they have no hope of of ever changing it and are damned to pointless political life. We all laughed when Boaty McBoatface was named by popular vote, people knew their vote was worthless and would be ignored anyway and acted accordingly.
