Yep, Phil wants them to wait but he has stated he's opposed to Scottish freedom. They need to strike while the blond buffoon is carrying on his apish antics. 😆
17
Those that are not willing to fight for their liberty and peace deserve neither liberty nor peace.
17
France was right, the UK were always reluctant Europeans and should never have been accepted. Oh well they were given a chance.
17
It'd be nice if Scotland and Ukraine could join at the same time.
17
Well thats right, that loss of moral authority is one of the first signs of a failed state. In the absence of any justice people will pursue their own.
17
Fascism is not an ideology but a means of achieving and maintaining power. Each country gets the type of government it votes for.
17
With the greatest respect Phil its not up to you to decide who's a Scot, that is a matter for the Scottish people to decide. This is why its important to have your own country.
17
He'd actually make a good Brunhilde in the opera, its not over till the fat liar sings!
17
Didn't he write The art of bullshitting before you have to fold?
17
@yorkiegilly4355 You clearly don't understand the concept that unity is strength, division is death but you will learn.
16
Maybe they're calling for the 27 to join the UK and be on a par with Scotland Wales and northern Ireland and be ruled from Westminster. After all, the UK was originally a bit faster rolling out the vaccine for a while.
16
"I can just imagine the reaction of the core Leave lot in little Ingerlund to having Scottish Judges sign a letter to stop brexit happening." That would be new levels of hilarity. 😂
16
Except he's failing because of brexit.
16
"When I first heard I brexit I thought it'd be great, we'd be trading more, imports would be cheaper, employees would have less rights as there'd be an over supply of labour." "But y'know without freedom of movement of people and goods brexit doesn't really work." 😆
16
The law and institutions that respect it like the EU are slow moving and unwieldy and when faced with criminals like Johnson and war criminals like Putin who simply move to a different timescale of hours rather than years appear glacial, but when it does gather momentum it gathers speed and becomes an unstoppable juggernaut.
16
Fascism needs an enemy.
16
There is no point quoting facts, as Homer Simpson said: You can prove anything with facts. We are in a post truth era where people are so cynical because of the poor quality of politicians (in every country) that they expect them to lie just to hear what they want.
15
A district in St Petersbourg has called for Putin to be put on trial, big deal you say but the fact that Russian people feel they can openly say these things show their fear is diminishing of the criminal.
15
Its not the fishing industry's value its what it represents to the union jack wavers.
15
@linnshee9382 Well it certainly caused disruption and that always has costs, but in the longer term reducing dependence on the English market (and thus reducing their cultural and political influence) is a necessary and desirable path to take.
15
@Martin Baldwin-Edwards Whatever, I've no time to get into a pedantic discussion now, pick Iceland then which has had a continuous parliament since the 900's AD, pick anywhere besides the gerrymandered semi feudal oligarchy that is England.
15
I'd imagine reintroducing the death penalty would also be on the agenda, Patel has previously expressed that desire.
15
@ohgosh5892 No, based on reality and fact, please point out where you think I've made an error.
15
"We don't have tattos on our forehead with our nation of origin" Shaddup Phil Stop giving Patel ideas.
15
Happy brexit pictures!
15
@ohgosh5892 We're seeing many historical questions answered such as how it actually felt watching an otherwise civilised country descend into a fascist nightmare.
15
Yep, like the Internal Market Bill just another impotent dummy spit, but what harm, how could it make Britain look any more stupid embarrassing and ridiculous than it already does?
15
Yes, it'll be a shock culturally and a hard road economically and militarily but ultimately rewarding. I don't think the US will last much longer as a cohesive nation state anyway.
15
Also Brexiteers: How DARE foreign countries bring in a system that makes it easier for us to travel there.
15
Because it keeps alive the illusion for a little bit longer that Britain is a very big strong important country that can stick two fingers up at Johnny Foreigner.
15
The GFA has served its purpose it has stopped the violence, now is the time to return to majority rule and that means Sinn Fein rule for the next stage in the dissolving of the northern Ireland colony.
15
Same as Trump, that's what saves us from the worst excesses of fascism.
14
Progressiveness has always been an intellectual ideology, while conservatism is emotional pragmatism, the Left appeals to the intellect that's why education and health have always been priorities, while the Right appeals to emotions that's why selfishness and hatred of the other has been theirs. The vast majority of people are driven by their feelings rather than by their logical calculations, that's why the Right is more successful.
14
Brilliant. 😂
14
Trump was just negligent and apathetic Johnson actually enabled the virus.
14
@justonecornetto80 You must have mixed feeling about that.
14
The UK won't even exist in 2030.
14
@archiesalmon-b8m He was probably in a specimen jar.
14
Or go out in the midday sun.
14
How is this any different to the police thugs in Russia Hong Kong and the USA?
14
@ellied.violet7372 Hello Ellie. Australia is also taking refugees as well as committed to supplying "non lethal and lethal aid". Putin has seriously underestimated Western solidarity.
14
I don't understand the rational behind this stunt, they don't want to be there and no one wants them there so why don't they just refuse to attend like Sinn Fein?
14
When the Conservatives say the trickle down effect, it means they're going to piss on the working people.
13
It's funnier the further away you are.
13
@ausbrum That may have been true 20 years but not any longer, the UK is totally irrelevant to modern Australia, the only reason there hasn't been another republic referendum is because of lack of political leadership on both sides of politics. If there was I've no doubt it would be a formality.
13
 @justmythought7658 😂
13
Maybe they got the orders mixed up and delivered the stale sandwiches to Wetherspoons and the crap beer to the school?
13
'Lord Frost -- a name one thinks worthy of the Game of Thrones' 😂 Have a like Ser MediaFaust. Frost is more of a White Wanker than White Walker.
13
@ritawing1064 And as Heinrich Heine observed: Where they burn books, they end up burning people.
13
@runlarryrun77 How's brexit working out for you Hmmm??
