It's an indication that men and women are not treated equally as the woman must cover up around other men while the man doesn't have to do the same and in Canadian society you show your whole face to the people you're talking to. It's one of the staples of a western society and I'm not gonna let a foreign religion change that.

  46. They said the same thing about the Kyoto protocol that it would wreck the US economy. The exact opposite happened. Despite pulling out of the protocol, the US achieved the goals set in the agreement nonetheless and the economy had only seen growth after growth. Economists are terrible at predicting the future.
