  23. It's not about going zero because that's impossible. It's about reducing emissions by as much as possible and that is exactly what this bill does.

  24. They said the same thing about the Kyoto protocol that it would wreck the US economy. The exact opposite happened. Despite pulling out of the protocol, the US achieved the goals set in the agreement nonetheless and the economy had only seen growth after growth. Economists are terrible at predicting the future.
