My neighbors are Mexicans from Monterrey, and I am 66 years old, and I can honestly say in my entire life, I have never had more wonderful, generous neighbors than they. I mean this lady shows up at my door spontaneously with Mexican breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and they are terrific!!! Such a sweetheart, and her husband is a caballero de verdad. From the US, so long as the US withholds its assent for western weapons to be used against Russian territory, the US leaves Europe isolated in doing so, and engendering the further ire and aggression of Russia, and Europe knows this, and the US surely should. And I can't imagine Europe liking it. We are either "all for one and one for all" with other NATO countries, or we very conspicuously are not.

It's deeply saddening to think of all the many, many Ukrainian heroes who rushed to the battle in February of 2022, and 2014 too, and rushed to so many battles since then, and gave their lives for the freedom of their country. It's so tragic. What a legacy for those who carry on - a prod to their patriotism and consciences forever, I hope. And ours too, and all those in Europe too.
