And didn't we sign security guarantees for Ukraine, with Russia's signature too, 34 years ago or so, in order to get Ukraine to surrender its nuclear weapons? Didn't that security agreement obtain all through Trump's administration? It sure was intended to. If Trump didn't act in conformity with our obligations to that agreement after January 2017, then it looks like TRUMP "got us into" this war.

Yet most of Russia is vastly underdeveloped. Is there a single indoor toilet east of Moscow? It's got a 10th century extraction economy, which explains why apart from extraction, it doesn't really build anything of merit or even note anymore.
