He stole EU funds by giving it to his son in law. That would do it. It's no coincidence that the biggest benefitting countries of EU funds want him in and others out.

8th developed economy and still have the highest debt to gdp in EU. The Italians have low income tax. That's what's the problem here. If a recession comes Italy is in deep shit.
40
Thanks, i was curious. Didn't Orban built a house or office inside Buda Castle with like a balcony? Like a king speaking to his people. I heard that from a Hungarian.
35
In the Netherlands we've the rightwing Tory like rule to thank for that though. 22 years of rightwing rule. 30% tax cuts for work immigration and they barely build any houses. Asylum seekers don't have the money at all to buy houses. The pensions aren't a problem at all in the Netherlands and jobs are neither. We actually have the best pension system in the world and a low jobless number since i was born in the 80s. It's where we shine the most.
33
Stop Swedish people from entering Denmark? What are you saying?
22
The tax is the problem for me. Italy has lower income tax than my country the Netherlands. I'm now paying more than a italian. Everything is also cheaper in Italy too. Italy also has free healthcare which my country doesn't have. Taxes have to be the same all over Europe. It's not fair that Italy has that high of a debt and they get more than me. I really like the EU, but this is some BS! I would considering to vote my country out of the EU because of this. Maybe we should start a south and northern EU. All of the high income tax is in the north and low income tax in the south. I rather start a EU with Germany, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Austria, Liechtenstein and Sweden. They at least got their shit together. They all pay high income tax. A 1% tax in my country isn't the same as a 1% tax in Italy. In Euro's that 1% tax is also more than Italy, but that i can live with.
22
@Gamermax98 They were against the EU recovery funds!? So they want Italy to fall. If i was a stockbroker i would take all of my money out of Italy. Lowering taxes is insane. 150.80% debt to GDP in Italy. The second highest of the EU. No EU country is gonna give Italy any country saving funds anymore. Italy is gonna get sold off to the highest bidders just like Greece. Remember what happened? They had to take in massive amounts of immigrants to pay their debt.
21
@GwainSagaFanChannel They were economically very poor before the war. Now the can work in the richer countries of Europe and send money back. If Russia wins they are absolutely screwed economically. Russian too by the way because they wouldn't stop the sanctions.
16
It's France, until you can't bend the baguette anymore.
15
Poland and France would probably love to help you now. Even the UK would love to help. It's not 2008 anymore. I see them even roll out the tanks. You gotta resist before a Trump can become president though. I wouldn't wait for the US election.
13
@joschmo4497 That's exactly what Russia does with this foreign law. It's the government that decides who is going to be banned. We in the Netherlands did this kind of law for politicians, not the media. It's a law to restrict freedom of the press. That's why the EU says that they will not be able to apply for membership. We have European rights to be able to apply for membership. Laws like freedom of the press and no slavery.
13
France has the most best points here. Germany is right on debt.
12
@joschmo4497 That would give you only state news. If it would only apply to politicians it's great.
10
@karlisnikazis5653 Poland has the most refugee immigrants in Europe, after them it's Germany and France is high on that list too. You think 2 million refugees from Ukraine in Poland aren't immigrants because they are white? 🤔 A Ukrainian refugee gets 636 euro's a month in Poland.
9
In 15 years time Hungary is a normal EU nation. The young people will grow older. Most 50 year olds there speak Russian as their second language and are very conservative. The younger generation all speak english and a lot of them study abroad. Things are gonna change there. It will take time.
8
Stable politics maybe, but they have the biggest budget deficit of the EU.
8
@HungaryBased Hungary would still be in NATO too. Imagine what happens to Hungary if they get out of NATO. It's gonna be the next Ukraine. Good luck with that! Be carefull what you wish for.
7
@striker8795 You think France politicians like to have high taxes for their people? Of course not! Debts needs to be paid. France is in number 7 of highest debt to gdp in Europe. You'll be shocked which countries are all below that number. Add another 92'5 billions to that and you'll be in the top 4 next to Greece Italy and Cyprus. France actually needs a 100 billions to lower the debt to gdp ratio for the future.
7
Be happy, we got Wilders now with the most seats in parlement. Wanna trade?
6
@rixorobert Drilling gas and oil is way more expensive and importing it too. Norway has the lowest energy price of all of the EU. They've 98% Green energy.
6
@mrintrovert5068 Russia? We already spend over 400 billion on defense in the EU. 3 times more than Russia. That's with low spending on NATO and without going into a war economy, We also have more active soldiers than the US. It's a big weapons industry we miss in Europe. That can be build fast if you have a war economy. Within a month with a war economy the EU could be spending twice the whole economy of Russia. Russia only has half the gdp of Germany. They aren't beating the EU without using nukes. They can't even win a meat grind, because the EU almost has 300 million population more.
6
We have higher grocery cost than Germany by far in The Netherlands. Germany has one of the cheapest groceries of the wealthy EU countries. We go shopping in Germany and Belgium for cheap groceries. Some items are half the price as in the Netherlands.
6
@mrsupremegascon You do realize he is in the most western alliance of the world in the EU and he refuses to leave.
6
Ukraine can also move troop through Russia and hit their troops in the Donbass from the back.
5
Orban is right now stopping Jens Stoltenberg his successor Mark Rutte to get the secretary general job too. Orban is so freaking annoying. We need to be able to throw countries out of the EU.
5
Samsung is South Korean. Just get a Samsung instead of Apple.
5
Most refugees of all of Europe with over 6 million Ukrainians in Poland. That's a big extra workforce. It seems like taking refugees pays. On top of that they get the most EU funds in Europe. We should all take more refugees and we all be rich. That's my take on it.
5
@artman12 We all should've been in a recession by now in Europe. My country the Netherlands has to cut back spending too this year. We actually did very well here the last years. During COVID we actually had growth. We sell a lot of agricultural goods in the Netherlands, so we had benefit of the food prices going up. We have one of the biggest rises of housing prices in Europe though. 8% to 10% rise expected this year again. It's extremely bad here because we are one of the most dense populated countries of Europe. We got 17 million people. Sweden, Norway and Finland together have 20 million people in comparison. The 1 kg cheese blocks went up like 200% overnight in my country, meats and bread too. Blame those Russians and some price gauging. Do rich people have fixed rate mortgages and poorer people floating mortgages in Sweden?
5
@SammyInnit It's investments for startups we don't have a bigger tech scene. We have ASML in the Netherlands and they are getting taxbreaks and investments for expansion now. It's actually the rightwing in the EU that doesn't want to invest that much. We have a green city project which included Belgium and Germany, but had massive resistance from the right. It included to a massive expansion of the techindustry. The biggest problem is that not all countries benefit of those expansions. They all think nationally. You see this in the weapons industry too. That's why expansion is so slow.
5
Not really. Netflix pays 2.8% tax in my country the Netherlands. It's pretty shit too. Ever heard of Monaco? Biggest tax havens are all European. Monaco is tiny without a army. Nothing would be easier to pressure to pax tax. We've football clubs owned by Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Trump golf course ain't shit. Peanuts compared. Imagine the Dallas Cowboys owner to be the country Qatar.
4
@KulturystaChaosu No we don't. We are giving ASML chip technology to the US. ASML is a Dutch European company. They apply Moore's law to computer chips. The only reason the US is winning in tech over China is because ASML doesn't give their EUV machines to China. We keep that in Europe and the US goes back in time 8 years in tech. They best the US could do is 7nm chips. We would have the 2 nm chips. The US would be making the 1000 series videocards again. Before the RTX period. AI and other tech would be dead in the US. China took 15 years to get close to ASML. They are close, but still not there yet.
4
We still have ASML in the Netherlands. America may have more industrial abilities, but without the ASML semiconductors machines they are making chips from 15 years ago. A machine China really wants to have. A machine that could solve Ukraine vs Russia in 24 hours.
4
@ What's far left about socialism? Orban has free healthcare, free education and free public transportation for elderly people and allowed Chinese police into Budapest. On top of that he's born in the Soviet Union. Isn't he a communist? The left at least gives you free speech and free press. Orban does not.
4
If i was a stockbroker i would take all of my money out of Italy. Lowering taxes is insane. 150.80% debt to GDP in Italy. The second highest of the EU. No EU country is gonna give Italy any country saving funds anymore. Italy is gonna get sold off to the highest bidders just like Greece. Remember what happened? They had to take in massive amounts of immigrants to pay their debt and sold of all Greece their assets like stadiums, railways and airfields.
4
It was definitely the cheapest EU country i've been. Most youth go abroad to study too. The amount of Hungarians in Germany and Austria is insane. I do like the Hungarian young people. Don't know.about 40+. They don't speak English very well.
4
@karasukafka6918 It's free to study in Austria and Germany for EU passport holders. It's way cheaper and easier for young Hungarians to migrate now.
4
Germany doesn't have take in account the UK anymore. They left the EU on their own accord. France has high debt and Germany doesn't. Germany also has the highest GDP. That's why Germany will be keep calling the shots. France should actually have less of a say in Europe. They have been one of the countries who devalue the euro because of debt.
4
What's the point? I'm voting out of the EU next time. Italy freaking again. For home improvements!? They need to be put on economic quarantine.
4
At least my country the Netherlands only went over 0.1% for Ukraine this year. We have never been over. Home improvement for Italy while still getting EU recovery funds is awful. That's some BS. Can we do a EU with the Scandinavian countries and the fiscal responsible ones or something?
4
I don't think so. I think it's even worse. We only know the numbers Russia released. The Ruble is still frozen. They froze the Ruble when it started crashing and it's still frozen. If the unfreeze it then it could drop like crazy. They need to put reserve money into the Ruble now, if they've reserve money left. Otherwise Putin needs to get very creative with budget cuts.
4
The Russian economy already has fallen in the future. The lost 60% of their energy exports. 40% of their total income. That's never coming back. Energy prices will fall eventually.
4
Still low debt though. It would take 20 years to be as bad as France or Italy.
3
The tax is the problem for me. Italy has lower income tax than my country the Netherlands. I'm now paying more than a italian. Everything is also cheaper in Italy too. In Norway it's even worse for your everyday things. Taxes have to be the same all over Europe.
3
I'm sure labor cost will be zero. That's what you do after a war or disaster. You get iniatiatives and funding true people who donate money. The buildings will pay itself. Investors will gladly pay a building if there is no labor cost. That's a huge opportunity for them. Give Ukraine also loans against zero interest and you're done.
3
Border tariffs.🤣
3
@joschmo4497 What Twitter? Twitter is a foreign agent.
3
Italy got 200 billion from the COVID relief fund that Northern Europe paid. They would be starving on the street without Northern Europe, Greece too in the housing crisis. Spain and Portugal have a pipelines to Africa for energy, that's why they are doing better with growth. Lisbon has the highest house prices of Europe by the way, while their gdp per capita is very low. Only the very rich live there and is now just a city full of expats. 2000 Euro rent apartments with a average salary of €1,463 a month in Portugal.
3
@wolfgang3059 The WEF has EU sponsors, CPAC in Hungary has only US sponsors. That's where a Meloni does speeches and even was a guest of honor at CPAC in the US. Orban too by the way. All the far right in the EU did speeches at CPAC and use republican talking points from CPAC. The EPP biggest push in the election was a EU army and a bigger EU weapons industry. Less US!!!! So you got your puppets twisted.
3
It's not. Russia makes a 1000x more with pipeline gas.
3
The housing policy is actually one of the previous government.
