  1. The southern blacks give us Jazz and Blues, regardless of the migration. Urban blacks give us Rap and Hip Hop, which may not have happened without the migration. Both reflect the mood and attitude of their time and space.

  3. As a result of the great migration, Detroit today is 85% black. Ferguson is 70%, and Baltimore is 65%. I wonder if they are in higher caste than those remain in the south, given they now have the option to utilize their talent.

Many colleges are now offering race-based dormitories (except for white), such as UC Berkeley, Stanford, Cal State LA, etc. after repeated requests for safe space from the "oppressed" students.   5. I visited Alaska a few years ago. I saw more old Russina Orthodox churches with their onion tops than blacks. Blacks don't like cold weather.

  6. marccas10 Don't have to wait 20 years. Just look at Zimbabwe and Zambia today -- two of the poorest countries in the world. These two have similar history as South Africa, but gained their independence earlier and have since removed most of the whites.
