  1.  kingtut777  President Donald Trump has significantly increased the number of drone strikes in places the US is not technically at war, In former President Barack Obama's first two years in office, the US conducted 186 drone strikes in Yemen, Somalia, and Pakistan, where the US is engaged in "shadow wars." In 2017 alone, Trump oversaw 130 drone strikes in Yemen, more than three times the year prior. When Trump vetoed the stop the war in Yemen, YES, he is responsible for killing innocent people! Comparatively, in 2017 and 2018 so far, Trump has launched 238 drone strikes in these countries, https://nordic.businessinsider.com/trump-has-expanded-obamas-drone-war-to-shadow-war-zones-2018-11?r=US&IR=T Surveys Find Outsourcing Continues to Grow under Trump Administration https://inhomelandsecurity.com/outsourcing-trump-administration/ Trump campaigned on: The country's infrastructure "will become, by the way, second to none, and we will put millions of our people back to work as we rebuild it", he said in his victory speech in November. After: Has repeated his vow to spend big on the country's roads, rail and airports, but as yet, there is little sign of action. By March 2018 Congress had allocated $21bn for infrastructure spending - far short of the $1.5tn Mr Trump has called for. The money will be spent on a wide range of upgrades and investments, according to a congressional graphic. 2. Over all she's not more anti wars than Bernie is! That said, I know Bernie is not perfect, either. Both of them are more perfect than the other candidates except for Mike Gravel. Senator Sanders has the best voting record of any candidate on war and peace issues, especially on military spending. Opposing the oversized Pentagon budget, he has only voted for 3 out of 19 military spending bills since 2013. By this measure, no other candidate comes close, including Tulsi Gabbard. In other votes on war and peace, Sanders voted as requested by Peace Action 84% of the time from 2011 to 2016, despite some hawkish votes on Iran from 2011-2013. In terms of stopping the war in Yemen, Sanders has been a hero. Over the past year, he and Senators Murphy and Lee have led a sustained effort to shepherd his historic War Powers bill on Yemen through the Senate. Congressman Ro Khanna, whom Sanders has chosen as one of his 4 campaign co-chairs, has led the parallel effort in the House. https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Bernie_Sanders "There will be no unconstitutional wars under his (Bernie's) administration that he's going to have far greater respect and respect for human rights and he will be transformational on economical policy..." Ro Khanna quote Bernie has voted with Trump 13.8% of the time. Tulsi has with a Trump 20.7%. Bernie is better when it comes to voting. Good intentions matter. Voting matters more! https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/congress-trump-score/bernard-sanders/ https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/congress-trump-score/tulsi-gabbard/ https://vetsforbernie.org/2019/04/bernie-sanders-only-candidate-to-vote-against-all-3-trump-military-budgets/

  16.  @jat2111  Good grief your fear mongering is not going to work with me! It works for the rich just fine and It does work with Social Security and Medicare all Medicare for all is expand it for everyone! I have friends in other countries that are happy with their health care and would never move here! Only the very wealthy just the same as here complains about it. You can't post any link or information that I have not already heard. But since you are against it then by all means refuse Social Security if you live long enough to get it and whatever you do don't call the fire dept if your home catches fire because if you do you are a hypocrite! Put the fire out yourself! Now, I don't continue on with people that care more about corp welfare than people dying needing health care. And don't give me that crap about they can go to the ER. The ER is not free! People still get charged and only the very poor can get Medicaid. Medical bills can wipe out the middle class, too! ALSO you can't get cancer check ups or other things done at the ER just to name a couple of reasons why that reasoning holds no merit. The only part of your comment I agree with is if UBI was ever passed that would definitely kill the incentives to work because people that can work should work but don't give me that hogwash, either, about people that are lazy wanting free stuff because I KNOW too many children of wealthy parents that have never worked a day in the life! They would never vote for Bernie because they want that free money to keep going to their parents. So if you are going to call anyone lazy make sure to point that in all the right places! Now have a nice day!

  34. justachannel  Of course it's ok with me for everyone to vote their conscience :) I point out why I vote the way I do or why I won't vote for someone but then each of us have our own highest set of priorities and it's most unfair for anyone to think we have to vote for someone we feel is wrong for whatever valid reason! It took a long time for women to get the right to vote but they were unstoppable and I feel sure MLK followers knew it would take a long time for the rights they fought for and while it might be the same for Bernie it's a fight worth taking to stop the corruption within our system and the best place to start is by not taking super pac money and ending Corporate Welfare to balance out things for all of us! People can debate not voting for Bernie gives a Trump Presidency (since Bernie has the greatest margins winning against all the Republicans) or if not voting for Hillary would do the same but in the end if Trump won the Presidency then ultimately it is those that VOTE FOR HIM that gave him the presidency and no one else! I do feel a vote for anyone taking super pac money and/or represents Wall Street is a pro establishment vote but that's my opinion and everyone else is entitled to their opinion, too!! Yes, the world has changed a lot. Republicans didn't use to be so extreme and there didn't use to be Corporate Dems or if there were years ago I was not aware of them. It's beyond me how anyone can think that super pac money doesn't influence policy making. It's not that I don't want to continue conversation with anyone! It's just I feel there are important issues that I want to get out to as many people as possible and with my other real life duties I try to equal my online time as much as possible to as many as possible.
