To us Aussies roos are completely normal, but totally understand why they seem so weird to others, nothing like them anywhere else in the world. Little ones wont hurt you, like always, if ya don't be an ass, they will leave you alone, if confronted, it's kinda like bear protocol, make yourself look small, stay still and protect your vulnerable body areas, with a roo it will work 99.99% of the time, a bear however, without a gun or spray your chances are not great. The US has way more scarier shit than we do IMO.

Lizard is a Thorny Devil, Port Mac is pronounced Mac worry, spikey ball is an Echidna, all past currency is legal tender, though paper notes and old coins will need to exchanged at a bank. As for Michigan the only thing that comes to mind is Lake and Baseball. Fun fact, Australia actually has more snow than Switzerland. Yes it snows in Australia, Mount Kosciuzsko, Doesn't sound Aussie but it is, The Snowy Mountains, say no more, Bluff Knoll, a small peak where I grew up just outside of Albany WA, The most southern point of the Aussie mainland. Rugby is really only popular in NSW, Queensland and New Zealand. where AFL is popular nationwide.
