Chinese workers make products like smartphones, computers, electronics, appliances, clothing, toys, sneakers, etc, cheap and affordable, so that the cost of living in America is lower than it should be. Think of the billions of dollars Americans have saved on living expenses, thanks to affordable Chinese goods. Money saved that can then be spent on things like cars, houses, luxury brands, or essentials like school fees, tuition fees, hospital bills, doctors fees, rent, etc.

Johnny Dominguez Frankly speaking, if the machine can do the job better than humans, then what's wrong with using machines instead of people? China is no stranger to embracing technology, look at China's massive surveillance system and advanced facial recognition software for example. It has helped Chinese law enforcement in many ways as I will explain here:
China has world's largest population, so its very difficult for law enforcement to maintain order. China faces a shortage of police officers as compared to other countries; China has only 115 police officers per 100,000 people, which is below the global median of 300 officers per 100,000 people. So China uses massive surveillance and advanced facial recognition software to make up for the shortfall in police officers in China.

But your biased anti-China Western propaganda is going to give it a negative spin about some "dystopian" scenario, when thanks to this system, crime rates in China have gone down and people are safer in most Chinese streets than even some Western countries. If the technology can do the work of humans, then what's wrong with making use of technology then?
