Perpetual inequality only creates violence and bad outcomes. Saying "we deserve security, safety, control over out borders, but they don't" only perpetuates this inequality.

Guy on the Left: Let's create a scientific mechanism to make sure every vote counts. Guy on the Right: I'm going use every underhanded trick in the book so that my team wins regardless of voters.

Gives new definition to the phrase "playing the race card" 😂
165
Gee why does this all sound familiar?.... Modi pretty much handled Covid exactly like Trump did.
60
The irony of depicting the union army enslaving dinosaurs while leaving out the fact that the confederate army enslaved people....
43
idk WTF this guy is talking about. Asylum seekers were processed inside the untied states long before the Trump administration. We were literally talking about these statistics DURING the Trump administration.
42
The guy literally sounds like a NPC.

I don't get why some white people have the hardest time understanding what racism is.... Racism isn't deciding how black/white/latino people are, or having a conversation on cultural contributions of certain individuals. I mean for fucks sake if you can't figure it out from the definition of the word then I really don't know what's wrong with you: Racism: "prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior."
28
I fail to see what the point of all this is... In my mind there are far bigger logistical issues to be solved than sending a vehicle as fast as you can down a small stretch of track. We've literally been doing that for decades. This seems like nothing more than a PR campaign.

@ronhatfield2322 You weren't born with anything. You were born into a society with rules and regulations that were created by men. If you were born in a different time and place your life would be entirely different. You might be born a slave, an immigrant struggling to escape cartel violence, or sitting in a child sweatshop making clothes. Pretty easy to think you magically have all the rights in the world when you were born into a system that gave you advantages.
25
@blazzing_fury2425 No, but let's be honest about who mostly uses the tactic. As well as who has been taken to court many times for various forms of voter suppression all across this country.
25
Reminds me of the early days of the Daily Show that was mostly a just a comedy show but turned to serious politics following 911 and became a small source of alternative news/opinions amongst a sea of corporate media. It easy to see how Americans were detached from the Iraq War. When it was a country halfway across the world with a completely different culture, and no military draft. Yet to see the same propaganda being effective for a war that's happening right on their border in a country where a lot of people have friends and family is pretty amazing.
21
@KingAgniKai That may be, but it seems that Modi, Trump, and Bolsonaro all have the exact same attitude... Conceit, boorishness, and denial with a health dose of anti-science. Which all led to hundreds of thousands of their own people dying.
19
Circuses drew thousands of people. Then came radio, TV, video games, internet, and endless porn.
18
Furthermore, regardless of what's happening at the border, most people in this country undocumented flew in with a plane ticket and overstayed their visas.
18
Sad are the people who comment and before watching a video to know what it's about. Sad are the people who think using the label "liberal" is a real argument.
18
e n o u g h, The unemployment rate was going down long before Trump. In fact Trump's biggest job gains have been lower than Obama's. The only thing Trump did was not crash the economy (yet) and fool people like you into taking credit for it.
17
So we're defining "speech" as being able to run people over in your car now?
16
Spreading the misinformation that only unvaccinated people spread the virus is the reason why people get demonized. They can't just be making a bad choice for themselves; they have to be damaging to society in some way.
15
Sy Sharp. Someone presents you facts and you return with a nonsense quip to make you feel better about yourself. Yup, pretty much sounds like your typical Trump supporting low information voter.
13
"I'll get you my pretty.... and your little dog too!"
13
At the end of the day you're waving a stick around that you touch people with. It doesn't really matter if that stick is metal, wood, or plastic with LEDs. The guy going on about "tradition" is forgetting the fact that in 2019 people aren't walking around defending themselves with swords. It's all just pretend, no different than lightsabers.
12
@wolfydz1239 You say "no offense" while purposely creating an offensive comment. Someone tells you about the most intense moment they've had in their life and you decide that it must be something else simply because they are Latino. That's got to be the most ignorant thing I've heard all week.
11
@CCasket So talking about an issue and making it a priority is somehow worse than not talking or doing anything about it at all... Got it. Typical Trump logic that doesn't need to make sense to anyone outside the bubble.
11
So much ignorance and demonetization of "the other" in these comments. Makes me ashamed of being an American. As if these people have done something to you.
10
Remember when people actually knew what communism was instead of just calling everything they didn't like "commie, liberal, leftist, socialist"?
9
Sy Sharp, it literally takes 2 seconds to look up the unemployment rate and GDP growth by year. Or are you just too lazy? It's pretty obvious that the unemployment and economic growth that we've currently been on has been going on for years starting after the economic stimulus package in 2009. Real policies change the economy, simply getting elected and going "Der I made economy good!" is not a policy despite what you might think.
9
@wolfydz1239 I did not call you racist because I don't think you're coming from from a racist position, just an ignorant one. Latin American spans across two continents so it's pretty silly to automatically assume that all Latino people have had violent experiences with cartel people. Perhaps I was wrong in thinking you made the comment on purpose, it doesn't seem like you meant any harm, but you have to understand how it comes across when you stereotype people based on nothing more than their ethnicity.

If you actually care about democracy you would listen to what the Palestinian people want instead of just blaming Hamas over and over. To Palestinians, Israel is a terrorist, an oppressor, someone who is taking their homes and oppressing every aspect of their lives. What do you expect them to do? Do nothing?.... Until you have a conversation that doesn't just blame Hamas for everything, you're never going to get anywhere. Israel is the actual power in that region, not Hamas.
9
@blazzing_fury2425 It doesn't matter what side you're on. If you're not for getting rid of gerrymandering or the influence of big money in politics then you're against democracy, period. You can find people in both parties on either side of those issues, but the pressure to actually fix those things is mainly coming from the Left. It's not really anger to acknowledge reality. I don't really care about your label or your team, just get on the right side of the issue.

HIGH ENERGY They didn't "win" the Senate, they kept the Senate cause there weren't enough seats open. However they lost the house in one of the biggest landslides we've had in recent years. The disapproval rating and support for impeachment clearly shows what's going to happen in 2020. I've already bet one republican a $1000 that Trump wasn't going to win a re-election. I'd be happy to take your money to.
9
***** You're a perfect example of how fear and racism retards the mind. Your sad attempt to say something inflammatory to get a rise out of people just makes you look like a child throwing a tantrum.

3:57 "That's one of my criticisms of the Guatemalans there's no vision" Said every Imperialist ever.... 😂
8
Yeah Pooch, somehow that excuses slavery, rebelling against the US in order to keep slavery, and implementing institutions (poll taxes, Jim Crow, Red lining, Prison Industrial Complex) which discriminated and economically subjugated black people, which in a lot of ways continues to this very day. Native tribes fought on both sides of the war for various reasons. But sure, if you think having a union is wrong and you'd rather believe in traitors, you can always GTFO and look for a country that supports slavery.
8
Sorry but, looking at blogs and videos is not "research". It's listening to people telling you fairytales until you believe in fairy tails. The human mind constantly tries to make sense out of chaos, which is why these fairytales are so compelling to you. No different than seeing shapes in clouds.

This video is far more interesting and informative than anything I've seen on TikTok.

David, you don't get it... The biggest problem here is being able to maintain a consistent vacuum across miles of track and varied terrain. Being able to suck out that immense volume of air is problem, being able to maintain that vacuum across MILES is a problem, being able to move vehicles and people in and out of the vacuum SAFELY is a problem. Being able to make a small electric car to speed down a track is not the problem... We have electric trains literally all over the world and they are pretending that this is solving something when the biggest problem has always been the idea of maintaining a vacuum that is on the scale of the great wall of china.... Watch Thunderfoot's videos on the Hyperloop for all the immense problems that these PR stunts are not making any progress in solving.

The RNC was also rigged against Trump, It just didn't work because there were too many RNC candidates who were diluting the pool. In fact RNC leaders were planning to try and take the nomination away and started prepping Romney or Rubio to take Trump's place at the last minute. It never became a big story because that Russia hacker farm conveniently decided not to leak emails from the RNC only the DNC.

It's amazing that ISIS will got through villages flogging people who smoke or drink alcohol while at the same time providing their soldiers with all sorts of drugs.
5
What's disgusting is people relying on labels like "Leftists" instead of real arguments. It's as if a logical train of thought is too difficult for our political discourse and instead everything must be "leftist", "commie", "socialist", "SJW", etc. Absolutely nothing of substance.
5
04:55 "The 2nd Amendment is about making sure the government remains accountable to the people" 05:10 "You might see an armed resistance" She is just casually suggesting shooting politicians (assassinations) and starting a civil war just so they can play with their guns. These people are freaking CRAZY.... Sorry, but the founders didn't create a 2nd Amendment so you could go around threatening to kill people you disagree with.

@bailey5836 It's funny how we like to pretend as if US generals haven't been responsible for murdering civilians. Trump literally just pardoned someone accused of war crimes so heinous that it gave the people he served with nightmares. Yet we like to sit here and pretend we're the good guys. Let's not forget that the CIA overthrew Iran's democratically elected leader and installed a dictator who brutalized the Iranian people for over a decade. Gee do you think Iranians might be upset over something like that? It's funny how we cherry pick our own history to pretend that we are the good guys. if Iran bombed one of our generals we would immediately call it an "act of terrorism" regardless of what that general did in a war 15 years ago.

A very specific scenario that requires someone to opt in as well as have lots of clear high quality voice recordings that other people have access to. The media is going to be producing "omg, AI is crazy" pieces for years.
5
So it would all be about you and not whether your daughter was happy or not.
5
HIGH ENERGY Umm... we won quite handily last year.... 😂 Which is why there is an impeachment process right now because of the majority in the House. The Right often uses well paid think tanks to create a simplistic narrative that their gullible followers just fall right into. This sort of propaganda is repeated over and over in order to distract people from substantive arguments.

Anna Bella Because people and businesses also benefit from the free exchange of labor across borders. And no one is saying that immigration will even change with the UK out of the EU. Not saying that there weren't problems with the EU, but cutting off your nose of to spite your face isn't the best solution. It seems like most people are simply voting against the "idea of something" instead of doing any kind of real cost/benefit analysis. The EU was solving a problem that stems back to WW2, by making an emotional knee jerk reaction to economic inequality and xenophobia they've already given more reason for Scotland to exit the UK and given much more power to Germany. They have not only sewn the seeds of their own economic downturn but also leading the way for a fractured Europe which very well may lead to serious conflict in the future. If all the states in the US were individual countries with their own currencies, military, commerce laws, immigration, etc. then we would be in a hot mess as well. There is nothing indicating that this is a good thing other than making people feel "warm and fuzzy" over an ideological and fantasized sense of control.

A pregnancy is not an "infant".... It's amazing that pro-life people think that a fetus is the same as a child. It's about as silly as calling a baby an adult.
4
When you ignore facts & reality you start seeing people reporting facts & reality as "liberal".
4
The real problem is economics..... Blaming drugs is not the answer. Killing people is not the answer.

Vasting When did I ever talk about Brexit or a 2nd vote? Do you have Alzheimer's disease or something? Millions of UK citizens are asking for a second vote because their economy is going to shit and they're having buyer's remorse after being told a lie about all the puppies and rainbows they would get if they left the EU. I have a friend in the UK who's in panic mode because his business is about to take a nosedive so he's thinking about moving back to the US. Which is going to cost a lot more because the pound has lost so much value. Personally I don't care because it's not my country, I may be able to start hanging out with my friend again if he moves back, and the way the pound is dropping like crazy visiting the UK will be cheaper than ever later this year. So it may be a good time to check out Scotland. Assuming that they're still part of the UK :-)
