  3. More advanced Nodes do inherit all the properties and methods from less advanced Nodes. So Node2D inherits from CanvasItem which inherits from Node, but they are not that bulky as MonoBehaivour! In my example, Node gives ability to be integrated in engine's MainLoop, CanvasItem gives the ability to be drawn while Node2D gives Transform and Z-index - no unnecessary things ;-)

  17.  @gp6763  Agree. The thing is: in Unity or UE there is a financial motivation to add something to their Stores while in Godot there is none. So when I use Godot (and I use it much often that any other engine), I just don't count on that I will find something in a Store. And that's fine for me personally but most people would prefer to have a big Store where you could find/buy anything you want ;-) Godot 3 have everything for 2D and Godot 4 have almost everything for 3D (no Ray Tracing and no DLSS tho).
