hard work is only a probabilistic proxy cause for achieving outcomes, not a deterministic, mechanistic cause. Even if it was directly tied to output, it's still the output that's desired, not input. When you add religious moral overtones to hard work, you are truly fkn mindfuck trapped in an erroneous belief.

militaries don't really go through there anyway because it's so high. only small tactical troops in modern times really can do anything. obviously, the actual buffer area is the lower elevations, SEasia, Myanmar, Laos, etc.

too bad communism doesn't work, makes everyone poor, and gives rise to dictators. communism is like raising an athlete but you can't give him enough nutrition/food so that eventually when they enter the fighting ring, the L is virtually guaranteed before even the fight begins.
1
lol communism is such a joke.

@anfrex3342 ok but why was it interrupted? because it would expose the corruption, and communism ran on corruption due to its political architectural nature. What you're saying is like "if anyone got pushed off a bicycle, they'd fall and scrape their knees." OK fair, but you're ignoring the fact that if you ride your bicycle through cross traffic moving on your red light, you're going to have an insanely high probability of getting knocked off your bike and scrape your knee bro.

technology company competition is like watching the greatest real sports of all time. but the sports isn't just idle repetitive artificial games, but the very advancement of humanity into possibly a real sci-fi-like future one day

why would china close off the area to foreign archaeologists, after a history of them going in long after the war? social justice warriors like to accuse america of being racist (which isn't even true), but ignore how 10x racist china is.

@billythekid5196 commies focus on national priorities and military at the expense of its citizens. so yeah they were impressive in the same way slave masters were.

almost all regular normal citizens can be friends. it's always government leaders that are the assholes, then drag the rest of their countries into conflicts for the leader's megalomaniacal aims.

7:05 what?? you do NOT gauge stealing on the basis of output, whether it's spending or widget shipments. By that logic, if Nike moves all of its manufacturing to other countries would mean those other countries stole Nike... Obviously a completely nonsensical notion. The subsidies by the US gov to build chip plants so obviously nullifies such metrics - the US is already paying for them... you can ONLY measure theft by core cutting edge IP getting into the hands of another country. This video didn't dispel or refute anything. An uncharacteristically low quality video

this isn't just capitalists and big companies, socialists and conglomerates. it has always happened in the past with kingdoms and nobles. It's the natural market of when you concentrate power over people (i.e. the existence of a government power)

culture spreads by diffusion. even if the contact method for the diffusion is war and conquest.
