If defund the police is a movement from America where, as the caller says, they spend a lot more money on policing than we do here, if that is the case why do we need it here?

So who runs this country the government we elected or the WHO? We elected a government to make decisions not a bunch of people who delegate the job to others.

The MP's and councillors need investigating as well. Very hard to believe they would turn a blind eye to this for years without some incentive. After all it is a crime so the MP's and councillors have authority on their side, to not use it indicates they were complicit.
39
How can they still claim that lockdowns work??
33
I suggest we start looking at which parts of our normal behaviour fall outside of Sharia law and then look at which of our freedoms are being removed.
30
And he finished with 'reset'. They're all in on it.
28
Again I can draw a parallel to the end of the Roman civilisation where they devalued the money so far that they paid soldiers with slaves who worked on the soldiers farms. The other farmers could not compete with free labour.
23
The 1984 public health act. The games up.

Swivel eyed loon

What these two are talking about could just as easily be said about ANTIFA, extinction rebellion, the climate change brigade, BLM, the nutcases running riot in America with their autonomous zones out of the Walking Dead. People lashing out when challenged? ANTIFA have been violently attacking people who disagree with them since they began. It really is sickening listening to these people.

It's a Labour utopia! It's all in the name - Labour.

Nigel is all over the place on CV. Not his strength.

Britons today are asked to answer for those of the past. I'd say that's an unfair apportioning of blame.
10
Remember Dr Vernon Coleman? The old man in a chair. He talked of exactly this.
10
What a simpleton. He did not clock that laws made by one government will be inherited by future governments with motives that you cannot predict?

As far as I can tell Ferrari's argument just doesn't work. If the vaccine prevents against the new Brazilian strain and the Peterborough strain, then those who take it still have nothing to worry about regardless of who else takes it. If a person doesn't take it they put themselves at risk, which is their decision, and those others that have decided to take that risk.

I asked a checkout attendant at the supermarket if they knew anyone who worked at the supermarket who had CoVid and the answer was no. Everyone in the community uses the supermarket so the staff come into contact with everyone yet none of the staff have had it.

Every cloud..

The tactic is to exploit our liberal ways to allow ridiculous things like transgender. Some people will take a stand against it and start to agree with the new religion. The alternative is collapse of society. Either way we loose.

James is nothing if not dependable. I know exactly what line he is going to take on a subject without even listening him.
6
We use cutlery party to remove being infected from whatever may be on a persons hands thereby improving sanitation. Some countries are known to eat with their fingers and wipe their arses with their hands. Are we to become like that?
6
You are coerced. Is this how you want the government to operate in future? Because this is just the beginning.
5
@Olly_2024_ Why should events require vaccination? If you have decided to be vaccinated then you are not at risk, if you have decided to take the risk then you bear the consequences.
5
Don't give them any credit. Why should people work to provide for the wilfully idle?

I think the problem is there just are not enough Police and crime has been allowed to grow. UK citizens used to be allowed to buy firearms. Police didn't carry firearms then and they managed to keep the cities more civilised than they are now. There has been a change in values that has been gaining pace and the social disintegration we are seeing now is the effect of those changes running their course.
5
He only has one working ear, that's why he finds it so difficult to listen.
4
It takes a Conservative to stand up for a decent society. The socialists are frauds.
4
@doghouseriley4732 And the money he is borrowing is being literally given to his pals.
3
The best you can say is that they're doing such a poor job. But the key is in the name.

Went to the supermarket this evening. Shelves are bare. No bread, no meat, no butter, no frozen goods (except for a pile of pizza everyone has avoided), no cans, chopped tomatoes went last week, not even Marmite! And they have bought up all the fresh vegetables! They don't even keep. You have over a 90% chance of surviving if you get it so people really need to get a grip otherwise more people are going to die of starvation. But it all appears to be a excuse to bring in authoritarian measures backed up by communism (UBI). We had SARS and 55K people died of that but we didn't have the nonsense that's going on now.
3
The position of Mayor of London should be abolished.
3
Give it away to gardeners. You can use it to make slug traps.
3
@alncham Absolutely otherwise the body would be permanently producing antibodies for every pathogen you have ever encountered. To do so must be detrimental otherwise the body would do so.
3
@Olly_2024_ No you're just going to be ostracised if you don't take it.
3
This could be a black-swan moment.
3
Hand Solo Christianity prohibited the charging of interest as well - usury. But they relaxed their law when they noticed that it helped spread the religion.
3
If he donated his whole 12B to the NHS they would spend it all in less than a month. That 12B could be invested in companies who will produce more down the line.
3
Maybe BLM can go and tear the buildings down. But if there are no black people enslaved then I guess they don't care. It's not as if they called themselves All Lives Matter.
3
Aww, diddums.

+Veronica Jones It is the political disease. To gain the broader appeal he needs he has sacrificed some of his more radical message. I've noticed it as well.

@Gav_80085 Actually it's easy. The concept that appears difficult to grasp is that each person can perform their own risk assessment and take the steps to protect themselves if they feel necessary without imposing onto anyone else.
2
@sir7586 A government is not elected for one purpose. They have to be able to do everything required.
2
James O'Brien's arguments are infantile.
2
@SammyInnit Shoot? Your comment was about arrest. Shooting is another matter.

It's all in the name - Labour

America had the Bubonic plague a few years ago. Madagascar has the Pneumonic plague in 2014 and 2017. That's far worse. It pops up frequently.
2
No. We have local government to take care of day to day running and local issues. It falls to local government to do something about it first. Until they can show they have attempted to solve the issue but failed for reasons out of their control, passing the buck up means they are irresponsible. They had the authority to do something and the means yet nothing has been done.

The ultimate regulation is the consumer. Most newspapers and TV channels have political leanings, people cannot help themselves. But in a free market people do not have to consume what they do not agree with. In the new media domain there are producers with a different political bias to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook but the problem is that they must be hosted by the same companies that own YouTube, Twitter, Facebook so there is a conflict of interest and they will not host platforms with a different political bias to their own. This could be solved by anti-trust legislation. The social media giants have utility status to host a platform but act as a publisher when they censor something with a different political bias. They should be broken up. Hosting services separated from content. Hosting services can continue to enjoy the status of a utility but they are not allowed to refuse platforms that are breaking no laws. All other services will have the status of publishers. Microsoft was stopped from dominating the internet by anti-trust measures, if they had not been stopped then Google etc may not have flourished. I see no reason why the new tech giants should not have anti-trust measure against their monopoly of social media.

4:25 What a backward statement. Politicians get held to account for lying because we know who they are.

Avi Hyman told us yesterday on GB News that the IDF will conduct an investigation. The IDF has not done so yet, but it will. He then went on to say that hopefully it would find that it was not the fault of the IDF. So it sounds like they have decided the outcome of the 'independent' investigation, before it has even started. Pull the other one.
