  1. My guess is that companies (big ones) are going to face bankruptcy. The economy is only just surviving now. The debt is massive and the interest rates are almost 0. If we have to bail out all the companies that start to go under then the debt will be even larger than bailing out the banks. This could be the final nail.

  4. Why don't ANTIFA defend Churchills statue? He was the only person to stand up to real fascism, he must be their mascot. You can see how these people are just tools being used. You can't use ANTIFA to take down Churchill - it would give the game away. You have to create another victim group and use them instead.

All matter absorbs radiowaves of certain frequencies and microwaves are absorbed by water. That is how a microwave over works and is why there is a metallic screen in the door of a microwave oven. Microwave links have been used in compter networking for decades. I witnessed an installation between two buildings of a TV broadcaster in London. They had used a point-to-point microwave link rather than digging up the road to install cable. The microwave link was mounted high off the ground so as to go above peoples heads. But birds that flew through the directed beam would get microwaved.

  16. 19 people per 100,000 contracted CoVid where I live but the population is no more than 10,000. Out of those 19 people 3% die of CoVid so that's 0.57 people per 100,000 from a population of 10,000.

If a person was released from hospital with CoVid the then first person who needs to ask themselves a question is the person culpable for releasing the patient. What do they expect?   24. I agree with Nigel on this stuff but his opinion on the CoVid 'crisis' I do not. Just look at how willing the government is to spend billions, no doubt borrowed money, to stop the country working! It's so easy for them to find the money for us to do nothing but destroy our economy and our own future. We are literally borrowing billions to destroy our own nation. Yet they won't spend a penny on the armed forces that protect us. They won't spend a penny on fixing the roads, policing, schools, hospitals, prisons. Nothing. They could have lend a mere 300M to the company in Whitby mining for fertiliser and it would have unlocked a 2B further loan to finish the mine. It would have reduced our trade deficit by 7% alone. Where is the value for money when we spend billions on doing nothing? Not only do we need answers we need to stop this here and now!

  26.  @joyceb8407  My Dad died because the GP misdiagnosed his cancer for about a year. Spread around the body. Then he had chemotherapy. Problem was he was a type 1 diabetes sufferer and his kidneys were damaged. Chemo killed his kidneys. They put him on dialysis for a day then said it filtered out the chemo drug. If they kept him on dialysis he would die of cancer, if they took him off he would die of kidney failure. They decided to do no for him and he died. But he had done everything right with the cancer. Said about it early but the doctor kept treating it with antibiotics. Still, no more diabetes treatment required.

  30. The air pollution they are talking about here is nitric oxide and particulate matter not CO2 (which is not a pollutant). Maybe what you are getting at is that diesel vehicles were promoted to reduce CO2 unnecessarily but they create air pollution instead.

While the virus was spreading here in single digits France and Germany's cases were sky rocketing. Those nations also passed the peak before we did therefore their death rate and new case rate is low while ours is still declining. But if you care to look at the figures the death rate and rate of new infections is dropping because we have also passed the peak. The death rate in particular follows a clear pattern of decline and within that trend there are periodic spikes for up to 4 days followed by large drops in death rate. The deceiver has simply picked a day during the spike period.

  36. James is half right about this. The papers come out will all sorts of outrage stories that are aimed at conservative readers. Yet as James points out nobody you meet is really outraged. So what does that tell us? The papers are making it up and the conservative people are not falling for it. But there are plenty of people who are very vocal about their vegan diets, the mistreatment of animals, environmental issues. Plenty of very forceful attitudes on politics. Why is there a guy who is still shouting through a mega phone on college green every day? Why is it a bunch of people decided to protest against the Conservatives winning the election fair and square? These are the extreme people and the media does not even have to print a word to provoke them.
