  2. The Vickers QF 2-pounder 'Pom-pom' guns were not clones of the 40mm Bofors. The 2-Pounder Mk.II entered service in 1915 and the improved Mk.VIII HV in 1930. The 40mm Bofors did not enter production until 1934.
