  1. ​ @herpderp3131  It was a presentation piece, to be given as a gift, not for Göring's personal use. During WW2 his favoured sidearm was a S&W Military & Police revolver, in .38 Special. Well finished but plain.

  2. To be fair Goring did economise during the War. The pistols he gave away during the War were only silver plated after being engraved.
