  1. The Third Reich gave the Finns a lot of captured weapons they didn't want or need themselves. (Curtis Hawks, Ms 406s, Bristol Blenheims etc.) But good kit like Pak 40s, Stugs, Pzkw IVs and Bf 109s they had to buy.

  2. The British had some of these in the Western Desert in 1940/1. They were effective against Italian tanks but like the 2-pounder obsolete against Panzer IIIs and IVs. Later the LRDG mounted some on their trucks, for defence against armoured cars.
