  1. The Lancaster pistol was not used during the so-called "IndianMutiny". The Indian Rebellion was in 1857-8. And the Lancaster pistols were not produced until c.1860. Also centrefire cartridges were still inommon during the Indian Rebellion. And would have to be privately supplied, perhaps directly from the UK.
