  1. Its quite likely that some of these rifles did see combat use during WW2. Thousands of Estonians volunteered for the Wehrmacht, from September 1941. Serving in both Heer and Polizei battalions. These units mainly used captured Soviet weapons. Including those seized when Estonia was occupied in 1940.
