  1. British Commonwealth troops routinely Brens with 30 round magazines from the hip. The ZB 26 was widely used in China and it was convenient for the 7.92mm Bren to use the same magazines.

  2. It's unlikely that the British would have acquired 7.92mm Brens for the tank regiments post war. They were already phasing out the Besa and 7.92x57mm in favour of Brownings in 30-06.

  3. The original "8mm Bren" were ZGB-33 guns made at Brno, in 8x56mmR for Bulgaria. Now thats a "forgotten weapon".
