  1. The British did not tow these 25mm anti-tank guns behind vehicles. Instead they carried them en portee, in the back of 15-cwt trucks. With the crew and ammunition. Also it has to be said that the BEF troops hated the 25mm Puteaux. While it was more conceable than the British 2-pounder, with its 360⁰ mounting, the 25mm guns were much less effective anything bigger than the Pzkw II. No better practically than the Boys anti-tank rifle. Which was smaller, more portable and quicker to bring into and out of action than the Puteaux 25mm.
