  1. FN probably knew that a full automatic battle rifle was impractical. And would never be used. So why make an unnecessary change to either the rifle or production line.

  2. I wonder why the British bothered tested this? They has converted a ZH29 and a gas trap Garand to full automatic in 1939; and found them to be uncontrollable.
