  1. The FIAT-Revelli M1914 was the Italian standard issue machine gun in WW1. But it was far from the only one they used. There were probably as many Colt "Potato Digger", Vickers 'C', and St. Étienne Mle 1907 (in 8mm Lebel) machine guns in service as the M1914.
