One is that the secret world government is making people sick and/or controlling their minds with 5G mobile phone technology. Some have blamed the coronavirus on 5G towers.

  9. It’s looking probable that the suspect was an anti-5G nutter and that was his motive for attacking ATT. I think that’s still terrorism, but I know it doesn’t meet some definitions because it’s not primarily political.

  17. @Not cilé You should not assume that the bomber(s) are truly concerned about human lives, just because there was a warning. Whoever did this has a callous indifference to life. If they actually cared about others, they would not have set off a bomb like this in the first place. It’s hard to say what their motives were for broadcasting a warning because it could be a number of different rationalizations or delusions, from clinging to an idea that they’re good people that don’t intend to hurt anyone to wanting to counteract “bad publicity”. It’s an elaborate but hollow ruse they’re playing at, whatever their reasons.

Some might argue that a delusional anti-5G conspiracy theory doesn’t rise to the level of a political ideology, and therefore this doesn’t qualify as a terrorist act. If the anti-5G motive holds true, I don’t think his political leanings are particularly relevant to the case. This opinion subject to change as more information is revealed.

  38. I don’t think you understand the logic behind assistance for the airlines. It’s because few people are flying that there is a danger they will go out of business. If they go out of business, it will be massively damaging to the economy: a national air travel network is a basic requirement of a modern economy. If the airline industry fails, the economy as a whole will take much longer to recover, if it can recover.

Most people carrying, whether legally or not, don’t have the training to respond without putting others at risk. They might think they do, but that sort of overconfidence in their own competence is part of the danger they represent.
