  5.  @BillyTheKidder  It’s a half of a day’s drive to the Mexican border. It’s not terribly difficult to just drive past the aduana and your documents won’t get checked until you hit an army check point about 50-100 miles inside the border. If they’ve been planning and preparing, it wouldn’t be hard to get a falsified visa that would satisfy the checkpoint . . . If they don’t wave you through. Another half day and you’re in Mexico City, where you can get lost in an ocean of people. One thing I don’t get though. Did this deputy know that this guy isn’t John Hamm?

  9. Our borders are secure. Any enemy country that tries to attack us either has to cross an ocean or attack Mexico or Canada first. You really can’t get more secure than that. If you’re referring to immigrants and refugees, then you have a bone to pick with House Republicans and Donald Trump. They scuttled a bill that would have imposed tighter controls on the border. Apparently the problem on the border is less important than having the border as a campaign issue. But at any rate, anyone calling the border problems an invasion is either lying to scare you or is frightened by their own shadow.

  23.  @joelbusald6416  I hope I’m wrong on this, but because Brock is retired from the Reserve, he’s not under the jurisdiction of the UCMJ. At least from my reading up on this topic. If he was retired from Active Duty, he would be subject to UCMJ. I’m not an expert, so take this with a grain of salt.
