When you’ve beaten so many people that they form a class action against you, you might have a behavior problem.

Lol, that’s still Karen mode, just a change in gears. She was still lying about the interaction, refusing to take responsibility or accepting consequences. The next stage is breaking into tears, possibly followed by a violent tantrum requiring police intervention. Someone needs to write a book, “The 5 Stages of Karening”.
40
@TheMotherofTacos It has to come to the floor first. It won’t. It will get stuck in committee.
35
And they don’t even need proof of vaccination. A negative Covid test is sufficient.
27
Trump’s just fundraising, riling up the rubes to give him money.
26
Dude called the police asking for “federal protection”. He’s no longer minding his own business at that point.
19
@b.b.s7545 Because it makes perfect sense to Target a Walmart, and it makes absolutely no sense to Walmart a Target.
19
@wut3358 A private business’s mask policy isn’t unconstitutional. Furthermore, when the belligerent non-mask wearing customer refused to leave, he was trespassing. The store employee wasn’t out of legal bounds using appropriate physical force to remove him. I might not know you, but I know this about you: you know very little about the law.
16
I find it hard to believe that ex-President Trump did any “homework” to the residence part of the White House. That stretches credulity.
16
Police in actual fear for their for their lives and not just reacting with adrenaline.
15
@Wargutz666 Also, if you were belligerent at a bar, they could legally ask you to leave and physically throw you out if you refused to leave. No difference here in that regard. The only problem this employee might have is if he violated store policy.
13
Build it yourself. Take some personal responsibility for a change.

In a trial, if there is conflicting testimony, the jury sorts it out during deliberations, not during the trial, and certainly not during the presentation of the case. Can you imagine a witness jumping up during opening statements, shouting, “Judge, judge! I want those statements concerning me stricken from the record!” If Senator Lee’s memory of events is different today than they were at the time of his interview, then the defense should call him to the stand.
12
Tuberville is an embarrassment, but the House backing him up downright disgusting and dangerous.
12
@M_mcin Try wearing it over your mouth and nose, and not like a half bra over you manboob.
11
@slayba Damage to property above a certain level is often treated as harshly or more harshly than hurting or killing people.
10
I don’t want gun control, but what other options are there when gun owners won’t control themselves? People like the shooter here have the self mastery and maturity of a cranky toddler, but they’ve armed themselves with deadly weapons.

It’s actually a safe human medicine for certain parasites AT THE CORRECT DOSAGE. But there’s no known application for Coronavirus because there’s no medical mechanism for how it could work as an antiviral. It’s a neurotoxin that attacks the nervous systems of worms and lice. A virus doesn’t have a nervous system. The worlds largest manufacturer and distributor of Ivermectin is Merck (considered one of the biggest of the “Big Pharma” companies). Merck has no vaccine for Coronavirus and no therapeutic treatment. They could make hundreds of billions of dollars if Ivermectin did what the Antivaxxers claim. Instead, Merck published a study that said Ivermectin is of little use against Covid. But still, the Antivaxxers claim that Big Pharma is suppressing the scientific research.

Constitutionally, States have the right to determine their own election parameters. Most states’ legislatures determine their own congressional district boundaries. If you want to change this, you have to invest time and effort at the state level (and I would urge voters of both parties to do this—it’s really a bipartisan issue).

@rockothedoggo4875 thoughts and prayers for your warped and twisted soul, doggo. It’s not too late to be a better human.

I’m not sure what intelligence has to do with whether one is a criminal, in or out of uniform. I’ve known lots of people below average, average, and above average intelligence. The great majority showed no propensity for violence. What you are thinking of is sadistic bullies. No, the problem is that PDs don’t filter these personality types out of the hiring process. In some cases, they’re selecting for them. Maybe they think they can channel the violence of these thugs (and maybe they even do in some cases). But it seems like there are far too many of these cops that abuse their power, and the rest of the police look on.

TikTok’s parent company is owned by the Chinese government.
8
Imagine if they protested this hard when Russia invaded Ukraine!
7
That’s not cool, making fun of crayon addiction and crayon addicts. I’ve gone ten years without sticking crayons up my nose.
7
Lol, for all of that, he knew the applicable rule, and thwarted the derailment with a derailment of his own. He’s old, but he’s not an old fool. I was surprised they picked him to preside over the trial, but maybe there was a method to the madness. He could have called Senator Lee’s motion out of order—technically correct, but potentially outrageous to some Republican Senators. Instead he started putting a motion to a vote, giving the House Managers time to sort out what they wanted to do.
7
I saw some stormchaser video of the tornado at Rolling Fork. It’s night time, but the flashes of lightning illuminate it and it looks like a huge wedge. All of a sudden, there are lights whirling around in the funnel, going up way high. It took me a moment to realize they were cars.
7
@JL-kf8mw She doesn’t want to be served mental illness because she already ate. She’s full. Why is that hard to understand? Now, if we can just convince her to take her medications.
7
Ultra liberal Tip O’Neil and Arch conservative Ronald Reagan were friends. They certainly had their differences, but each one was a person of goodwill. That’s how they bridged the gap and came to solutions.
6
I wonder how the pandemic will change the demographics. On one hand, minorities suffer worse outcomes (probably due to healthcare disparities. On the other hand, white Trump supporters seem to go out of their way to catch and spread the covey amongst themselves.
6
She was thinking of when Trump hides in the bunker. Whenever the Trump people make outlandish claims, there’s a good chance that they’re accusing others of their own behavior, whether it’s hiding in the White House bunker like a coward or committing crimes.
6
@paul sroczynski So, congresspeople just pop over to the White House pharmacy to get their prescriptions filled? It’s fascinating all the interesting facts one can learn on the internet.
6
He doesn’t deserve a medal or a parade, but someone give Matt a cookie. He deserves a cookie at least, and not condemnation or ridicule for being human.
6
@For891 Large twin engine turbo prop? That is not going to get you out of a flat spin. Your control surfaces, including the rudder, are not going to do anything to slow down the spin. They can’t overcome the rotational momentum.
5
@michaeldrone520 That’s false. A single infected person not wearing a mask can be a threat to others.
5
The only people suggesting banning all weapons are NRA plants posing as liberals. They do this to gin up fear, leading to increased firearm sales. It’s a form of viral marketing. Why do you think there is an ammo shortage?
5
Let’s go a step further—your proof of vaccination is your voterID.
5
I’m just going to speculate, but he was angry that people like them were taking jerbs away from people like him.
5
Do whatever you want, Ivan.
5
You know that anyone can announce they’re police, right. There isn’t a special voice the police use to announce themselves that no one else can use.
5
The 2nd Amendment isn’t just a right, it’s our responsibility. Gun carrying should be mandatory for everyone over the age of 12, but I wouldn’t stop at guns. Each of us just be required to carry a tactical nuke with us. This would lead to a polite and respectful society and most importantly: mental health, psychological counseling, and anger management would finally get the attention they deserve. We would be forced as a nation to find mature and peaceful methods of conflict resolution, lest someone “blows up” in anger. Also, “Good Guy with a Nuke” sounds kinda cool.
4
You should use one of your older troll accounts. This one is too fresh.
4
So you’re against self-defense and stand-your-ground laws?
4
@Latnman101 lol, no. The U.S. isn’t forcing Mexico to look elsewhere. While I think AMLO is misguided in this particular instance, it’s common for Mexico and the U.S. to disagree over foreign policy. Mexico takes pride in not being under the political thumb of the U.S., and takes great pride in being independent (all the while, both countries are deeply interdependent). AMLO is a populist, and he takes this disagreement farther than other Mexican politicians because he desperately needs to pump up his popularity. But it is delusional to think AMLO will make common cause with the Chinese or Russians when Mexico and the U.S. are so interdependent and economically and socially intertwined. I think disinviting Nicaragua is a mistake, though.

There’s a 12 Angry Men joke buried in here somewhere.
4
This is a meeting of the OAS. Cuba is not a member. It has attended the summit in previous years *at the invitation of the hosting country*. Venezuela and Nicaragua probably should be invited, although Venezuela’s government is basically a criminal cartel hostile to its neighbors and the U.S. There is a strong case to disinvite Venezuela for their hostility and for their game playing with the OAS itself. Unless I am missing something in current events, I’m not sure what the basis is for excluding Nicaragua. That seems like going too far.
4
The wording avoids “perpetuity”. That’s why there’s all the verbiage about the last legal heir of the current English monarch. Making a contract “in perpetuity” can sometimes be used to invalidate a contract, so they phrase it in a way that means “for a helluva long time”.
4
They heard it, all right. They heard it coming and crossed the street.
4
@ROCCOCYCLES Trump literally takes quotes from Hitler’s writings and speeches, and you didn’t notice? Or you noticed and you approve?
4
Maybe you haven’t heard of the new proposed legislation: “Don’t say gun.”
4
@lukeoliver6488 Hahahaha, I had not heard that one before.
