It’s Molly’s job to control the dogs on Rick and Molly’s podcast. I don’t know how she does it remotely, but it seems to work.

Agreed. Ironically, Russia is doing this to itself. It is in fact solving the problem of Russian aggression by engaging in it and rallying the West. Putin is expending Russia on Ukraine and it will not easily recover from this strategic blunder.
2
About the kindest thing you can say about the ordinary people of Russia is that they’re craven cowards. I might not hate those people, but I pity and despise them. They never outgrew the Soviet mentality when they had the chance.
2
The Ukrainian defense forces seem to be doing well fighting the Russians, but the war would be over much sooner if Ukraine had a ROK division helping out. ROK are badasses. I hate to glorify war, but if you have to fight a war, you want ROK military by your side.

@nicholasguantai6726 lol, I was going to say, if he didn’t have a silver spoon when he was born, he married one!

And now they will have to pay the Cat Astro Fee.

@brandonwheaton1081 It’s possible, although it’s highly doubtful he’d be involved with practical production, running the set, hiring the crew. When an actor is involved as a producer, it might be a vanity credit, because they were involved in development, or because they helped raise funding. It might be how their deal was constructed to participate in profits in addition to salary—big name actors might take a cut in their regular rate, gambling that the project will eventually make a lot of money.

In Soviet Putin, losing celebrates you!!

@barrylane1055 I’m unfamiliar with Darya Massicot, but I’ve heard Bronk on several different channels. One of the things about evaluating the suitability of aircraft for potential roles is to look at the total package, not just an individual aircraft’s fighting capabilities. Logistics, maintenance, sustainment, and non-combat capabilities are hugely important factors. This is why Gripen has strong advocacy. It ticks a lot of the boxes that sustain an aircraft’s ability to play a decisive role, boxes that the F-16 (for example) does not. I suggest that anyone curious about or concerned with Ukrainian air power look for videos about the Gripen’s suitability for Ukraine. (I assume you’ve already seen these videos and understand all the benefits of the Gripen’s total package.)

I take it that you’re too young to remember the end of history? It’s OK, I barely remember it myself. I vaguely remember it smelled like AOL.
2
Not really POWs. More like PO-Special Operations, no?
2
@DoctorAustin or he’s been lucky for 25 years and is courting disaster. That’s the problem with people who take shortcuts—the expedient way seems to work until it doesn’t. The person thinks, “Maybe the safety rule is overkill. Maybe it’s for other people not as smart or skilled as I am?” The more times things work out, the more ingrained the bad habit becomes, until an “accident” occurs with tragic results. This problem goes beyond gun safety. It’s a problem with workplace safety, driving, boating, flying an airplane. Safety protocols are there to provide a margin of safety. Shortcuts shave that margin down, until that day you “run out of runway”, as pilots say.
2
No, no, that’s not exactly right, either. They are “Prisoners-of-Special Operation”, not prisoners of war.

@luismendez2079 Your nieto is your primo? What, are y’all Mexican hillbillies? That ain’t right! 😄

How did it increase the Taiwanese “difficulties”? You mean it made China mad?

What about ghost companies? Are those unincorporated? 😄

The lesson of this war is that the U.S. and other allies will help you fight, but won’t do the fighting for you, unless you join the alliance.
1
@kaer2931 Whataboutism.
1
@clarkkent4075 Are you still peddling that tired old bull poop? Please, you’re insulting everyone’s intelligence.
1
That was a good pun! You know, I had a short but rather tumultuous relationship with a communist girl. I didn’t realize she was a communist at first, but she was advocating for a violent overthrow of the government. That should have been a red flag.
1
You would be undeniably right if this was a war. Last I checked, Russia still maintained it was a special operation.
1
@sandybeach2553 I think you mean “under rated”. In some ways that is correct, but there’s another measuring stick you can consider. McConnell is about as hated by the Democrats as Nancy Pelosi is hated by the Republicans. This hatred by the opposition is a type of tribute to each politician’s effectiveness.
1
@ahm848 If you’re saying this is a proxy war, apparently Russia didn’t learn that you can’t be your own proxy.
1
Shirtless. Mounted on a horse. With a 9” stainless steel rod shoved up his butt.
1
@goranrajcevic5550 The most pitiful thing about you is that you are enthusiastically helping a madman slit your own throat.
1
Then you are only seeing what you want to see. The truth is we just don’t know—and that was discussed in this forum.
1
YouTube Moderator You’re a Russian Troll, fomenting division, whether you know it or not. No more attention for you.
1
@StopWhining491 Years of purity purges even as the conservative values were hollowed out and corrupted, and the label “conservative” was twisted to mean a tribal affiliation, not a set of principles. The GOP gives lip service to conservatism, but it’s a front for their grasping authoritarianism and cult of personality. Actual conservatives are moderates and stand closer to liberals when you compare them to the fascists that stole the conservative banner. I call myself a “moderate conservative” with the rueful knowledge that “conservatism” has been stolen and stained.

Russian soldiers being treated like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed a diet of BS.
1
The truth is they don’t know. Only UKR defense forces know, and even that will be estimates for now. The proof will be in the pudding, as the English say, and it is way too early for that.
1
That would take years, maybe even a decade, and cost tens of billions.
1
@patverum9051 And what was the budget?
1
@haroldbell213 A giant mechanical badger!! lol! Controlled by the circuitry of a Roomba, because Russia has been cut off from Western technology.
1
That’s an endgame consideration. Unfortunately, I think we are far from the end game.
1
@tjmarx Not true, although the initial reporting assumed that it was a freak accident caused by blanks. This is an easy assumption to make because as the commenter asked, “Why on earth would live loaded guns be used in a film set????!!!!” That wasn’t the only safety violation, but it was the biggest one.
1
Or maybe this is the first counter offensive and it just started.

Germany wants to join NAFTA.

Why say South Asian? His parents were born in East Africa. He was born in Southampton. Sounds like a typical post colonial upper class Englishman.
1
It’s possible that, as Ukraine builds up for its counteroffensive, deliveries are not being publicized. It’s also worth noting that Germany didn’t have the most robust military to begin with. A lot of the very important help Germany has done has to do with pass through agreements for arms made or upgraded in Germany. When a German arms company sells or upgrades equipment, there are agreements for the customer country to not sell the equipment to third parties, according to German law. The German government has abrogated some of these agreements to speed the release of equipment other countries are donating to Ukraine.

@12villages Could be. Or they were aimed at the stated target, Iran. But whatever. The threat from tribal areas and militants can be minimized, but it will cost something to pay them off. And Iran will want its cut. India will expect big discounts or a cut of the proceeds when cargos are passed through Mumbai to other nations (who will also demand discounts). So the trade is certainly possible, but the potential profits for Russia are anemic. Still, their back is against the wall. They don’t have much choice. India will profit greatly. Iran will profit. Prosperity for Asia, and bare survival for Russia.
1
It’s weird, but he’s recently said complimentary words about the Ukrainian soldiers, their fighting ability, and their devotion to Ukraine. He seemed to be acknowledging that Ukraine isn’t part of Russia.
1
Unintended consequence numero uno: our children being pushed into the radical left. Trump is secretly pro communist. What’s next? Flouride in our water supply? In children’s ice cream? Children’s ice cream, Mandrake! Deplorable Trump communists will stop at nothing to tamper with our Precious Bodily Fluids. (I came to understand this threat during the physical act of making love, Mandrake.)
1
The first offensive ground to a halt. The Russians have shuffled their forces and are going to try again. Don’t be a dummy.
1
@ws8080 Putin has all sorts of doctors to shoot him full of whatever drugs allow him to cope. The possibility of nuclear war is still quite low. Anyway, how does a man who feels no shame or remorse feel humiliated? No, his type feels loss of power, but his type also clings to whatever power remains. If he triggers a nuclear war, he throws that power away. I think if he loses Crimea and Belarus, he might completely lose his mind, but at that point he will be quickly replaced.

@ashleylittle6776 Kremlin propagandists will rebrand wandering homeless people as tourists. Problem solved.
1
@cdcurry1203 *moot Using mute is a common mistake, even among native English speakers. The correct word is moot, as in moot point. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.
1
It means Russia out of Ukraine at a minimum. Putin could order it done immediately and save some of his army and halt the damage to Russia. Or he can keep fighting his inevitable loss and keep bleeding Russia. It is ironic that not only has Putin made NATO stronger, he is also making Russia weaker every day he throws his soldiers into the Ukrainian meat grinder.
1
Surprised/Not surprised Graham is doing this sort of grandstanding. He’s not interested in governing. He’s not interesting in foreign relations. He’s only interested in pandering to his base. The backbone of the drug trade is the flow of money. It is U.S. banks that are the enablers of the flow of money. If Graham wanted to address the problem of the drug cartels, he would be advocating for more oversight of the banks and more muscular anti-laundering enforcement.
1
His policy will be to marry the UK to a wealthier country? Its worked out nicely for him, why wouldn’t it work for a whole country?
