  2. Ziggurats are a completely different kind of structure to pyramids, tho. And the anticidents to Pyramids can be seen in large Tumuli structures that preceded them in the Nile region, those then evolved into stepped pyramids(probably due to being easier to use) before the pyramids. And large Tumuli continued to be built in the south.

  3.  @GodGuy8  While I do hold to Egypt first in all things aside from Agriculture. I was not defending that in saying that Pyramids are not from Ziggurats. While many people built Tumuli, Nile Valley Tumuli were much larger. The Necropolis in Kerma which continued the Nile Valley tradition contained over 2000 people and thousands of animals. This is larger than any Tumuli I have ever heard of anywhere, so it is clearly a feath of Engineering in its own level. The in-between step to full classic Egyptian pyramids, the stepped pyramids also imply more connection to massive Tumuli as those steppes exposed today we're actually the skeleton of the structure which was then covered with less durable material that eroded away(like a Tumuli) and lacked stairs(like a Tumuli) which Ziggurats had.

Christianity didn't cause the crisis of the 3rd century, neither did it cause Diocletian's civil war preparing reforms but it was Constantine the Christian that reformed the Empire to be able to continue. Essentially every Renaissance figure was Christian, even following that they continued to be either Heretical Christian or Deist(essentially a Christian heresy itself) in the Enlightenment. No, it wasn't Paganism.

  20. I do think you missed the pan-Christian but not pan-Religious group. Infact, some people like IP have transitioned from soft pan-Religious to strongly pan-Christian. The pan-Christians developed out of the online portion of that religious fundie group, that then focused more on debating Atheists than defending their own tradition. After sometime, debating Muslims then became prominent. It is ultimately from them that the move towards high church that you see arose. Because they were open to shifting around their christian conclusion to combat atheists because being from fundie groups without an early church tradition, there were often a few historic(like last 3 centuries) fundie-evangelical conclusions to chose from, which then opened them up to deeping deeper and using early church stuff more freely than the traditional demonimations of Christianity did. Its from them that you conversions to high church forms of Christianity arise.

No Europoids have been found in those Pyramids and the Europoid mummies are like, Saka era stuff way later than the rise of Chinese civilization. 2. Indian art is stylized in those depictions.   43.  @TalentedTenth  that is true but I think sometimes it can also go the other way around, people become Sedintary due to the ecosystem being unusually productive(Natufians) and when a drought of resources happen, they then invest more into keeping it in high production(farming) with recovery, the population grows and then needs to continue artificially increasing productivity (farming) to sustain the large population.

The Huns decimated the Romans, the Romans never* winning any major battle against them. The Huns destroyed the majority of the Roman army and tutored the Germanics in their style of state craft and warfare. While conflict can arise between brothers, we do not get the sort of intergenerational conflict and loss of grace associated with polygamous issues in the Old Testament. Only real exception I can't think of is Cain and that is a special issue that allegories the origin of human evil between humans. This is a general response to ur last paragraph. I do think that Christian law is not legalistic. It is virtue ethnics and the laws given are pictures of what virtue looks like. In other words, the laws are things you only break when it is virtuous(aka, follows a high law like love your neighbor) to break them. As such, I do think the opposite is also the case, something not necessarily being a sin doesn't always mean that it is always okay to engage in it, especially excessively. Like drinking too much or being a football hooligan.
